Just watched a vintage StackedGolf video today (the one where Jon adjusted lie angles on a set of irons) and I’ve gotta say how much I’ve enjoyed you guys over the years! 🙌🏾
My most recent and best find at a PGA tour superstore was a 9/10 condition Callaway Rogue ST Pro Iron set 5-PW with Project X IO stiff shafts for $379. I needed an AW and I got lucky and found the only used AW they had on the rack which was a Taylormade P790 AW in mint condition with a True temper S300 shaft for $43. After military discount and tax my bill was $400 out the door. I was shocked when I looked up the original price of the iron set.

Wow! I remember my Jetspeed 3-wood rusting across the face. TaylorMade replaced it for free, without question. I never realised that it was a common problem! Great show! Really enjoy your daily musings! Happy, belated, anniversary!!!
I just invested in a left hand g425. I had similar results as you did with that g430. I found thru a fitting that i load the club better by dropping to a 55gram stiff compared to my g410 with a 62 gram shaft. Crazy how a few grams makes that big of a difference. Keep up the great work on both channels. Awesome content 👏
I’m really starting to think Ping flubbed the G430 this year. I’ve watched multiple Driver reviews where it didn’t perform well at all. Smart idea to go with a G425 they were superb.

Great video with no daft t shirts or ancient video games. I enjoyed the frank review of that G430. Was probably ex tour with too stiff a shaft. Redwoods do give a nice feel but Ping nickel still the best. Enjoy your break. You need to get over to Scotland to play in cold, wind and rain. Ball doesn't go so far here!

Hey Jon and Ash, for some reason every one of your videos on both channels has a problem playing but buffers all of the time and if i bring up other TH-cam channels they play no problem. I have to drop the resolution on your channels to 480p to stop the buffering. I have no idea why this happens and my internet connection is reasonably fast. Still love you videos though.

I wasn’t impressed with the G430. Was playing with a guy who got a Japan issue one, so it was out over there before it released here. Just didn’t seem to have distance, it would go so far then just die, like it hit a wall

Great video as always. I had a Nike Vapor Speed 3 wood and liked it but recently sold it to pick up a Titleist 915F 3 wood.

I haven’t seen a single decent review on the G430 this year, but that’s as extra bad. I’d be sticking with the G425 if I owned one that’s for sure.
On the G430, I also couldn’t get along with the new Tour 2.0 shaft coming from the old Tour shaft.

The g430 was probably from pga’s playability guarantee. You can exchange any club purchase within 30 days if you don’t like it on the course.
Yes the lefty tax is terrible. I’m in california and the cheapest lefty irons at the PGA superstore were going for $900.
