    Great Review Kyle. Glad you went over some of the features that most reviews didn't cover, like how to switch between the 20 presets without using the software. The Tonex One is a cool device on it's own, but you definitely showed it's true potential when paired with the Tonex. Using the Tonex as your amp/cab pedal and the Tonex One as your drive pedal gives you an insane amount of tonal options with a rig that easily fits in a backpack.

    Kyle thank you for this deepish dive into the TX1 pedal. As soon as I saw this in the YT guitar community I ordered it. It's incredible that we are in a time where this tech is so readily available. What a time to be alive.
    Can't wait to get this thing. It's gonna be great! Thanks again Kyle

    Dude I watched probably 10 demos of this pedal between yesterday and today. Yours is in the top three definitely. Not sure if it's the music you play or the style of guitar you play that is similar to mine or my bands. Just want to say thanks for such a kick ass demo and you made it sound very easy to control this pedal. I actually think it's easier to use than the original Tonex. All right bro I look forward to the next one I'm usually on your Facebook page too or at least the post you put up! Thanks again Peace

    • @capoman1
      @capoman1 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Not sure. But tonex has been around for a while, this is just a mini version. So I'd bet you could search any amp like "5150 tonex vs kemper" and find results of comparisons.... You can also find "5150 vs tonex" or "real amps vs tonex" and decide for yourself.

    • @MetalheadOv666
      @MetalheadOv666 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I’d go with the big tone X if you’re wanting something to replace a Kemper for gigging. If not gigging at all I’d grab this lil pedal since u get the Tone X software with it. Just remember u got to have a computer, studio monitors, and interface to be able to use this and DL the Tone X plug in as well. If u want to play through a cab u have to have a power amp or at least through an FX loop of an amp.

    • @capoman1

      These are the words of a fuddy duddy who literally has no clue what they are talking about. You could set this thing up once and potentially never have to connect it to a computer again if you're happy with the tones you get. As for Sims sounding like "pale representations" that's laughably untrue on an embarrassing scale. Many world touring, huge bands use Sims these days and literally no one can tell the difference. Some of the biggest names in the audio engineering space have done blind head-to-head comparisons and basically no one (amateurs and pros alike) can consistently pick which is which. But sure you have a better ear than the industry giants who make a living off of comparing these sorts of things. Literally an "ok boomer" moment lol.

      @@M4GG0TK1NG First of all buy yourself an Oscilloscope & test the real deal against a computer generated artificial simulation. I guarantee you will see the difference. You also have to deal with Lag, Latency, Digital Artifacting, memory space being full & having to delete a memory file, CPU Stress or burn out, Volume Drop or Corrupted files & Consistent Downloading. Remember it’s a representation of what the computer & microprocessors estimate the real deal sounds like. A computer generated artificial simulation is good for studio or bedroom which are controlled environments, but live on stage can be very problematic & unreliable as live on stage is not a controlled environment, anything can & does go wrong. It will be too late to fix it. Yes I can tell the difference between a computer generated simulation & the real deal, as I have used both in the last 12 months, I have found real amps & real effect pedals to be more stable in sound quality. With real amps & real effect pedals you never need a computer. You just setup, plug in, turn the knobs to taste & play. Simple, easy & effective
      By the way most legacy bands metal, speed metal, thrash & many other forms of heavy music along with newer bands metal, speed metal, thrash & many other forms of heavy music use real amps & real effect pedals.
      This is what simulation does and what it is.
      Simulation: Pretend to be, have, or feel like. Imitation or counterfeit. Mock, fake, artificial or synthetic, Try to be like.

    Tonex butchers the highs and the gain structure in hi gain tones. Its just missing a ton of high frequency and gain data. NAM is a better tonal option, although it is harder to make your own captures than Tonex. The results in NAM are well worth the learning curve though. the capture apps clearly serve a purpose but I find all they all are lacking as of now. How bout a NAM vid Kyle?

      I wouldn't say "a ton" butevery modeling/capture software has it's quirks. None have totally nailed it yet, but most are close enough that the average musician wouldn't notice in a mix
