How should a church member respond to another family who was a member but ousted from the church after 1 meeting where they are sharing concerns over how they’ve been treated by the pastoral staff? They claim they sinned against the pastors by slandering them.
Need more detail about the family who is accused of slander and what happened.
This is great..... I've seen it happen in church many times but most of the time the individual is restored. But during restoration, they must be removed from any leadership positions for a time.
What would you do if someone says that he is trying to avoid committing a certain sin, but he is still committing it?
Go to your brother to confront sin. If he confesses and repent you have won your brother. If not go to two brothers to confront. If he still not repent then bring him before the church for discipline.
