Great videos - really well explained. I love the way these voicings are so versatile so, for example, the dominant♭13 ♭9 shape is the same as a root position half diminished. So a Galt can be thought of as a half diminished built on a tone below the tonic (half diminished on an F for a Galt). Thanks for leaving these videos up: a really useful teaching and learning resource.

It sounds as if you plan to include this in the resources section of the upcoming website, but I am wondering if I might be able to obtain this sooner (i.e. directly)? very good video and explanation but i dont understand 10:53 you say its Cm7 but your playing D in the chord, where did that come from, same thing at 13:33 i know its Bm7 but where did Db come from?

Couldn’t you also play a Dm7b5(b9)?
I play route list voicings, and if I do a 3 or 4 note open voicing the b9 will be played. Yes?
