I’ve been pushed and a lady hit me with her cart because I was not moving fast enough at Savers before. Another instance, a guy tried to steal my cart with my purse in it. Luckily, another fellow thrifter yelled at him. It’s dog eat dog unfortunately but there are good and bad people out at the thrift store. Be careful out there friends.😮

My granddaughter and I were at Savers a lady took two Coach bags out of our cart. Know I'm 4"11, but my girl is big and strong she walked up to the lady and kindly asked for them back. The lady said no, my granddaughter looked at her and said ' No one takes my Nana's stuff, No one" The lady handed them back to her! Was it right or safe no and did I really care no, but my girl felt the need to protect me. Know when we go thrifting we hold on to our items.
Good for your grandaughter! Standing up for you. Now, if one of my kids was w me, the cops would have been called lol!

Kim, I went to the goodwill bins once and experienced the complete chaos and rudeness of people when new bins come out. Especially shoes. A lady snatched a pair of shoes out of my hands without a second thought or glance back. Yeah it’s insane out there

And you still managed to find some great things. It was a beautiful day here and I met an old college friend for a long leisurely lunch so that we could catch up. Haven’t seen each other in over a year! I decided to wear my LV Lock It draw sting bag that I bought myself during the COVID lockdown. I’ve only worn it a handful of times, but I think I’m going to start using it more after seeing your what’s in my bag video and your beautiful monogrammed LV bag. However, I just bought from Coach Outlet their floral leather shoulder bag with the matching wallet and coin purse because I thought it would be pretty for spring/summer. I guess I’ll just have to switch back and forth! 😉😄

I have learn to cover my purses and things in my cart with a unwanted blanket or unwanted coat. If someone is in your personal space tell them to get away from you or walk away to another direction.Say this is mine. Like what a two year old would of said.

That’s ok. You know it will come back on that woman. She can’t have quality of life or success with greed in her heart. Greed will destroy you. It is better NOT to fight in those circumstances. It is not worth it. You will be surprised at what God has in store for you right around the corner. Keep your heart before the Lord and your quality of life will be sweeter and you will experience abundance (not necessarily in things) but abundance of the heart and that is something money can’t buy. Hang in there.

We have a bins type thrift near us. People will leap in front of you to snatch items. You did the right thing to let her go. I’m always afraid the bully will be watching/ waiting outside if they want it bad enough. Nothing is worth being hurt.

A lady asked if she could have what I have what I was about to purchase as she wanted the items to send to the poor in her country. Oh sure! I told her no and she left in a hurry. Was I mean or not?

I always have someone with me when I go Thrifting so they can watch the basket while I look .
Also, never leave your own purse in the cart. Have it on your shoulder at all times. This is why I wear a lightweight (Lululemon) crossbody when I thrift.
