    Why giant Bamboo?
1.It is one of the biggest sustainable construction material (House, livestock garden and household crafts and products/housing, irrigation,
    2. Mitigate Soil Erosion together with trees
3.Regulate and create deep water sources/spring water sources, it is reputed that a hectare of bamboo can store upto 30 thousand liters of water in its poles and gradually releases these stored water to the.ground during summer, aiding the replenishment of ground water from drought or destructive effects of el nino and climate change.
    4. mitigate soil erosion
    5. lucrative business for export for engineered bamboo
    6. it replaces our, local indigenous forest timber as main building materials, thus saving our local forest/trees
    7. it absorbs 3o to.35 percent more carbon in the atmosphere than trees
    8. its one of the grass species that houses one of the strongest beneficial micro organisms in the soil beneath its roots for organic and natural farming sustainable practices.
    9. source of food (labong of dendrocalamus asper is the tastiest)
    10. Fast growing..matures 4-5 years...15 to 20 meters and.8 tp.12''cm diameter depending on the climate, soil fertility, nearby watersource, elevation etc
    11. surrounding bamboo forest lowers temp as much as 5 degrees inside and.surrounding. of its canopy.. poultry farms use.giant bamboo to lower.temp. within their facility,.and.it.absorbs the foul smell of the poultry waste.
12.the benefits of having a bamboo forest in your area is limitless..
Bamboo propagation isn’t that hard or requires a specialty degree. It just a type of grass; some are easily propagated than others.

    Hi Sir!
I appreciate much your video! As I would like to get this type of bamboo, I'm interested in the fruits because I live in Ivory Coast, West Africa which has almost the same climate with your country!
So, please tell me if it's possible to get some fruits ? Of course, I know that bamboo flourishes every 7 years!
Thanks a lot to answer me!

Herbert..i hav e an idea for everyone...US filipinos...i am from USA most of my adult life and only back here 4 years...but am very familiar with the RUSSIAN people (being that so many were my closest friends abroad,,,and i had visited the giant northern country in 2016) ..i KNOW from personal experience that they are VERY interested in making good relations with OUR people...and some agriculturists i had gotten to know there briefly explained to me that their country would very much like to get to know our people and "warm climate" more...and vice versa...and that FILIPINE products especially fruits and those NATIVE to our country , including flowers,,plants,,are what they long hoped to partner with us more ....those that actually "ordered online" decorative plants from philippines..always were so proud they have a few plants in their homes and offices...TALAGANG HIT NA HIT ang pinoy products!! i even met the directress of a famous museum in the huge city of ST Petersburg..who toured me personally through the building exhibits (huge)...and in her huge office ..along the giant glass windows were ....a LINE OF FILIPINO PLANTS...we both watered what she said was "MY BABIES...so beautiful...from philippines?!! that was the same..in my hotel...where breakfast buffet all morning was the hotel offering...and since FRUITS ..both local russian and imported were really abundant...the Staff were so proud to tell hotel guests "fruits...fresh and no GMO...not allowed here in russia...BANANAS from PHILIPPINES...the BEST",,,!!
And indeed,,when i chcked the little tags..they WERE from philippines...considered in their groceries "the best kind"...
russians there told me..."if only we have more trade and relation with your country...we would like to get to know your people and products ..and you to get to know us...we really want to be friends with Filipinos and share our cultures more"...
i think OUR GIANT BAMBOOS would be fantastic as a source of pride and revenue and jobs here...to supply in quantities to penetrate russia s growing diversification...not least its fantastic architecture and home,, interior ....at the 'HIGH END" level...it s a VERY undertapped industry for the philippines...i always believed even back in NYC for decades...that the philippines SHOULD be one of the superpowers in GIANT BAMBOO and other varieties...not to mention coconut and rice and many more...as well as fruits...for world class quality ...and feed our own people.
kayang kaya nang filipinas ito! kulang lang more organized and helping each other especially the small producers.
