I'm a huge fan of Elaine Hagenberg's work; her writing is incredible. My choir is doing three of her pieces for our year-end concert alone. But this piece is beyond stunning. It's entirely a category of its own, and I never tire of hearing it. The way it conveys hope and nostalgia while, somehow, also looking forward to the cross makes me eternally thankful and humbled knowing that that baby of purest love would die for me. It's astonishing and heartbreaking in the most uplifting and glorifying way possible. I don't know how else to express that feeling. Incredible.

Glorious. Rarely do I hear a choir so perfectly blended...pitch, volume, intonation, mixing, and even the miking. Whoever worked with this choir did a phenominal job. Plus, it was so nice to see a choir where no one was gyrating. Their lovely, respectful demeanor and beautiful attire only added to the perfection of this performance. The orchestra was also perfection. No doubt, if the Lord should tarry, this piece and its arrangement will be a gift to many souls throughout the years. Bravo to all of you.
Franz Gruber and Joseph Mohr would be deeply honored by this. Of course they had no idea how much they have contributed to Christmas worship over the years. But this version is special. Moving beyond words and beautiful beyond belief. Very well done! Very well done indeed!
This is the most beautiful, calming, and cinematic rendition of Silent Night I've ever heard. I got major nostalgia listening to this and I'm not even sure why. 😂 Amazing and gorgeous, ma'am!!
