If there are streaks I would recommend going through with your wand to do touchups. The wand gives you more control so you can tidy up certain areas that might have been missed.
You should only need one pass unless the build up is tremendous. Pretreating can also help if the buildup is growth related. The direction is not as important. I would start from the highest point so your wash water isn't running over you on the initial start up.
$99 PW: I tried but 2.5 GPM PW and my wand couldn't get all the mold and paint off. Tyler: We got rid of everything you asked to be cleaned and then some........
