I'm running out today to get fabric. I can't wait to do this pattern. I love your tutorials! Six weeks ago I had never made a quilt and now I'm on my second one. I'm hooked!!!!!
Hi Stephanie! I just want to say that I love the patterns you are creating, and the fabrics that you use. Makes the quilt more fresh and urban than the old pattern! Keep up the good work! I am thinking about joining your club.
I love your layout. I am all about asymmetrical patterns and most of quilt designs and pieced backs are built like this. I plan which groups of blocks need to be made into sections, and what order they need to go together. But then, I have a been quilting for over 20 years and enjoy challenges and I'm a bit of a rebel here. I love partial seams, Y-seams, and curves. LOL
I have collected some coordinating large prints which I've not wanted to cut up to small...this will be a great pattern to keep those larger images in tact! I may alter it smaller by an inch or two, simply so I can showcase more of my large prints. THANK YOU for posting...Happy New Year (it's gotta be!).
Let me start out by saying i Love your tutorials! And thank you for all that you do. But $12 for this pattern especially only having one size is a little too steep for me. But maybe someday
I really love this pattern so I purchased it! I would love to make it larger though the pattern only has one size. Any chances that you might add instructions for other sizes?
I am a new member of Stashing with Stephanie since December the 7th. This week, I receive my 12 fat quarter. I know that Adam mailed it around January 7-14 th. So, it’s this pattern that goes with my fat quarter received the January 30th??? Thanks for the answer cuz I am a little bit mix match for my first time.
The bundle you received on January 30 was for Star Sign: th-cam.com/video/qsujrHDn-gg/w-d-xo.html With that and the finishing kit shipping with it, you will have the fabric needed to complete the Star Sign quilt top.
I love this pattern but before I buy it I need to know the finished size of the large blocks please. I have fabrics that I have in mind for it. Please let me know the size of the large blocks.
Stephane I haven't received mine yet! This is my first month so I want sure when it would come for December 2020. Should I be worried? I really like this quilt and if you're showing the tutorial the fabric must be on sale. And I would like the extra fabric for this quilt. Beki
Shipment times are running slow because of all the holiday shipping. But if you signed up in November, your bundle is on its way and you have a tracking number in your email. If you signed up in December, then your first shipment comes in January. The shipment schedule is explained in your welcome email with your special coupons. If you have any other questions, please email adam@quiltaddictsanonymous.com.
Being a newbie....I need a little direction. I don't have an issue with putting the fabrics together and sewing but not exactly sure on the cutting part. What does cross cut all 91/2 -in rectangles, squares etc. mean? Am I cutting one of the strips to make all the sizes? I'm confused. Thanks One of your wonderful tutorials on just cutting the fabric would be amazing!!
Hi Lori! Cross cutting and sub cutting usually means cutting strips down into smaller shapes. For example, cut 9in strips then cross cut into 3 inch squares. For further assistance you can always email help@quiltaddictsanonymous.com if you have more questions!
@@QuiltAddictsAnonymous Thanks so much. It took me a while but figured out you had each size of quilt in brackets as to how many fat quarters were cut. Not sure why that took me so long to figure out! :)
Hi Stephanie, I ordered a PDF pattern and reviewing it now. I’m having a problem with the smallest block. I admit it is difficult for me to follow a pattern. My interpretation of the pattern shows more blocks then the pattern layout shows. It is the 2nd bullet for fat quarter cutting instructions. I hope this makes sense and you can help me get this cut correctly. I can email you if that would be a better form of communication. Thank you much.
Hi Stephanie I just saw a question below me that asked the same question. When adding extra sections to make it larger would you just add extra vertical rows? Also for directional fabrics would that all go with the Sashing strips to the top and the right and the square being directional?
You could essentially make an entire extra quilt to double the width, or you could make 102” x 66” which would be a large twin and everything would be turned on it’s side for directional prints, or you could make a second quilt to double the width and add a couple extra horizontal rows to increase the quilt to fit a queen or king, then you wouldn’t have to change directions of the fabric
@@QuiltAddictsAnonymous, ok thanks, I think I understand About the directional fabric. So if I was to double the Quilt the directional fabric would go sideways? Still put the Sashing strips the same way on the directional fabric to the right and top of the directional fabric?
If you made two quilts to be paced side be side and finish 102” x 66”, the everything would be the same, except the sides of the final quilt would be the top and bottom. So you would want to have directional fabric squares and rectangles to make a 90 degree turn to whatever direction you decide is up. All other construction would be the same, just the final orientation would be different.
I really don't think we need to see your "finger trick" in every video. It just gets old. Refer people to your beginner's videos at the beginning and that should be enough.

Love this pattern for when you don't want a complex pattern and just want to sew and create! Thank you!
I just ordered the pattern. I have the perfect fabric that has lots of big floral prints. Thanks for sharing with us.
Thanks for sharing ironing seams open. Have been struggling with changes in block size because of this🎃

Stephanie, I am making this quilt. What color thread did you use to quilt? Looks like straight lines 3 inches apart?
I really love this pattern so I purchased it! I would love to make it larger though the pattern only has one size. Any chances that you might add instructions for other sizes?
We will not add other sizes for this one, but you could make it larger by making additional sections.
I’m a new quilter and find your tips very helpful. Would this pattern work for large flower fabric as well? Thx
Yes, it would work great for any large scale print.
I can't get the pattern to download. Any suggestions?
I'm sorry, I'm just seeing this! If you're still having trouble please email help@quiltaddictsanonymous.com for assistance.

Hi Stephanie, does this quilt pattern come in different sizes?
This one was only written for one size.
