Sony EV-S850PS

High end video recorder using the video8 format. Although the EV-S1000E is even more high end offering Hi8, the EV-S850PS offers integrated solution to record 6 tracks of digital stereo audio in PCM format onto a video tape. Where the PCM audio processors like the PCM-701ES and PCM-601ES previously offered to record only one stereo audio signal on a Betamax tape, the EV-S850PS takes this a step further offering 6 stereo digital audio tracks on a video8 tape!
Beside the audio capabilities, the EV-S850PS also offers various video editing functions, including audio dub and a jog shuttle. It can handle both PAL and SECAM OST signals.
