Choosing the right foundation shade can be tricky and often frustrating when it comes to undertones, skin type and having a summer tan. In this video I demonstrate and review the Maybelline fit me matte poreless foundation. Help me pick the best shade or does it look okay mixing two shades?

I mix 330 and 322 for the perfect year-round shade. I use 330 alone for my summer tan. If I use 322 alone, I need to go hard on contouring to warm it up.
You are the first person who has my skin tone and undertones. Finallyyy! I agree 330 tends to be a little too dark for me.

322 (warm honey) and 332 (golden caramel) are the same shade!! I’m your skin tone!! And at first I bought 330 (toffee) and it was too dark and orange tone!! So I went back to the store and swatched 322 and 332 and there was no difference! They both looked perfect on my skin. Although I ended up buying 332 (golden caramel) and I love it. Perfect shade!
I have 322 warm honey and it actually looks darker than hers look on my skin. 330 toffee is good for me in the summer but I have to go super light with it so ima try 332

Yesss I use 330 but it’s been making me look so much darker bc when I take my makeup off I’m pale asf, but I’m scared to go up a shade bc I don’t want there to be flashback :(
The way maybelline shades are in order is really weird because you would think the higher the number the darker it is .. but it’s not that way!! For example 330 (toffee) is darker than 332 (golden caramel)!!! I got 330 at first but it was too Darin and then went back and tried on 332 which is a number higher .. and it was actually lighter and was my perfect shade! Not too light and not too dark! Also 322 (warm honey) is exactly the same as 332 (golden caramel) but I would go for 332!!!!!! I know it’s a bit confusing!!
I actually found this really helpful because I've been wanting to try this foundation but I didn't know if I would be a 322 or a 330. but after watching this I think 330 is best for me!
Is 322 yellow undertone
I can truly identify with you regarding finding the right foundation! It is quite tricky and you have to know what your undertone is. They both look pretty on you!
I don't think either color was a "perfect" match, but they both work well enough. That is the beauty of makeup - how other items can pull everything together. I have 6 different foundations and none of them are my perfect color, but they all make me look better than when I have no makeup on, so I roll with what I have (I don't like throwing money away).

I have the same problem. I wear 330 but it does give me and orangy tan.
I recently purchased NARS Radiant Longwear Foundation. The lady at Sephora told me #CADIZ was my color, I matched but I noticed I looked orange 🍊 so I went back after trying it for two days and switched it for “ Huahine” (Hu-Waa-Hee-Nee). I’m soo pleased it is a perfect match for me! It looks like m skin.

Gosh! I can so feel the pain...I started off with 330 which I thought was fine but then I started looking muddy, then I got 332 cos it was less orangey but it was a weird lizard skin color on me & it looked muddy & grey. So I got 310 which is too light, thought I could mix it with the 330 & 332 to get the perfect shade...kind of works but a lot of work! Now I got the 320 as well...which is looks very similar to 310 so doesn't solve the purpose either. Phew! It is so hard to be a person of color & find a perfect match foundation!

I have the same exact problem! Warm honey (322) was my perfect match but then I got tanner. I tried toffee (330) but it's too orange for my complexion.

Roxanna Scarlett 332!!! The shades are weirdly put in order for Maybelline. Idk why! But I had the same issue!! I got 330 toffee and it was too dark and orange!! Then went back and tried on 332 which is a number higher (you would think it’s darker) but it’s not!!! It was my perfect shade!! Not too dark or too light and it was more yellow golden tone. Also I noticed 332 golden caramel and 322 warm honey are exactly the same . But I would go for 332 it’s perfect.
330 looks like it matches your skin tone perfectly. What concealer did you use?

I have used 330 it was my shade but unfortunately now it makes my skin darker after oxidization i have used 332 too but it makes my skin grey and looks worse on my skin actually I have neutral understand what shade will perfectly matched in my skin plzz someone help me🥺
I have been trying my hardest to find a good color. I recently got 330 toffee and 322 golden caramel. I been using the 330 religiously but recently I've been noticing I look alil ashy. should I mix the 330+322 and see or should I go all darker or lighter?? makeup problems...
+Catherlina Dozier Hi, if it makes you look ashy than it may not be your shade. You can try mixing it to see if it will make a difference in under tones. I didn't try 322 yet.
It's very hard for ppl with our skin tone ti find the right match. I usually buy multiple foundation then take home to find the right match. ♥️ What color and brand is your nail 💅 polish 🥰

I have yellow undertones but 330 is bit dark and 322 I feel is a bit light..now what do I do... I just want one foundation on the go...
you should try 332 Golden caramel which is a lighter ( maybe 1 shade lighter) and a lot more yellow/olive than 330. My perfect shade is Nars Syracuse (around nc43 in mac) and 332 is almost perfect for me, a tad bit dark

MsBripretty3 yess I have the same problem, 330 it's deep but in natural light my face looks orange and dark compared to my neck. The 322 warm honey is the best match but somehow when I swatched it, it looked reddish. I'm more of a neutral undertone so maybe this is why it looks ok. I might try 320.
I am the same skin tone as u but I have a warm yellow undertone and it’s hard to find a foundation that’s light with a warm undertone ☹️
Yea, it’s tough. I actually haven’t brought a drugstore brand in awhile. I’m in the process of figuring out a good organic chemical free cosmetic line to try such as 100% pure or Alina pure. However, the shade range for those type of websites are limited. When and if I like any I will do a video. Stay tuned :)
