They are an amazing band with long history, the quick and easy is, out a couple years before Slipknot, turned down Roadrunner Records contract that later went to Slipknot. Focus more on theater and great sound than raging hormones. Which is why Slipknot blew up. Both amazing in what they do.

Going down the rabbit hole of Mushroomhead is an experience lol. Great band and music, but changes a lot.

Slipknot ripped them off. Slipknot is more famous but not more talented: also mushroom head has done something slipknot hasn’t and that’s add a female and she’s also a singer and a badass one at that!!

bro, its MH fault for not accepting the Roadrunner contract. You can blame Slipknot for "ripping them off" all you want but slipknot took it and the rest is history. Mushroomhead is still cool though
