Kimberley is my hometown 😍 years ago back in the 70's & 80's in July Kimberley hosted JULYFEST. This included a parade, many events at the civic centre and during Julyfest, accordion players from all over the world would come and play in the platzle. It was a huge tourist attraction back in those days. The platzle was a bustling place with many different shops. The platzle has changed so much over the decades. The ski hill also in the summer used to be equipped with an alpine slide! So fun! There are so many beautiful hiking trails in Kimberley as well. Cominco gardens is a beautiful place to visit in the summer. So many beautiful flowers 🌺🌷 It is right beside the Kimberley hospital where I was born (no longer a hospital however). I'm happy you had a chance to visit Kimberley and thank you for posting🌞 You'll have to make your way to Lethbridge, AB on one of your trips! This is now where I reside and we have the largest train bridge that towers overtop of the oldman river! Happy Travels😎
Hello Matt and Karla...I just watch your Kimberly and Cranbrook Adventure... I've..been to Kimberly years ago and I can see that the big owl 🦉 clock still standing there..and yes all the shops close early.... I love your biking though Kimberly and the tour through the tunnel view is amazing. YOU like all the 🍺 🍻 🍺 and 🍔 🍔 🍔 for sharing this Adventure... Keep safe always and God bless you both 🙏 ❤️
Those are amazing videos. I love your channel. Thank you for posting. For those of us who can never afford of these luxury vacations, we can at least see what they are like through your videos.
@@MustDoCanada You most often don't mention prices in the videos so I guess it was my assumption that these hotels, car rentals, restaurants and activities are expensive. But it wasn't meant as criticism. There's nothing wrong with expensive vacations when you can afford them. And of course, what luxury is varies for everyone. So maybe I shouldn't have said that in my previous comment. My apologies.
@@garyExposMtl No no, no offense taken. I was just curious as we don't want to always come across as things being luxury. But yes, I do agree. Even just general hotels, restaurants, and gas add up quickly. So I totally get it :)
I wish we could have heard some of what the guide was talking about in the beginning, other than that love all your videos, I love seeing how beautiful Canada is.
I really thought Kimberley was a pretty town. It's not unlike Whistler on a smaller scale. Did you try any of the strudel while there? It was excellent!
It is Kimberley so everything is closed all the time. What else is new with Kimberley. Also why didn't you go to Fort Steel and ride the Steam Trains? Another thing and I don't know if it is on your next video but between Cranbrook and Canal Flats is a place called Lussier Hot Springs at Whiteswan park. If you think the fake hot tub in Kimberley was good the hot springs will blow your mind and they are free and open 24 7 365 days a year
Hey! We'd love to know what you think of our BC Road Trip series. This video is part 2. Anything you'd like to see different from our next road trips?
Our backcountry is really the highlight ❤️ "dust if you must, but there's not much time, with rivers to swim and mountains to climb".
BC is beautiful! Thank you!
The road series was very informative. Loved the Vernon and surrounding area.
Thank you! Yeah we loved Vernon too
We will have to visit. Looks like you had a lot of fun and fantastic scenery!
haha yes, hard to beat the mountain scenery
❤ all your video's mate 👍.

It is! Did you go skiing there? I don't think we had it there but we did have it in Cranbrook
and again in Radium at a German restaurant hah
@@MustDoCanada No, it was during the start of fall so well before ski season started. Beautiful still at any time of the year :)
