I love your space. I now have Scrapping room. It small and crowd but I Love 💕 it. I thank God for it. I had to start my life over. I almost died in 2019 but God it was not to be. I am retired and returned to my hometown with nothing but the clothes and some paper. I now do layouts and cards. Enough about me more about your Scrapping room. I love it thanks for sharing. We homeschooled our 4 kids, too! They are all college graduates, & 2 of them have master’s degrees. Everything I have is organized in the same categories or by color. It’s not at all beautiful or even as functional as your space is. I have a craft / guest room. It’s small but I’ve learned to work with it. I have to keep everything clean and put away so that the room is ready for family when they come but that also works for me because too much clutter stresses me out. I’ve been looking at craft room videos lately to get ideas & I love yours. I appreciate your advice on repurposing what we have because I definitely can’t go out and buy new.

I've just moved my space and I'm using what I have until I sort out what works and what I need to change. I share a portion of my basement with my family space. I have an area for my creating with a small space for my daughters to join me. Our family tv space also is in the same room in the basement.
HI Victoria, I must agree with Sunshine_hello&huddle as far as your room tour goes. I have been watching craft room videos to get an idea of what I like and would like to use in my craft room space, only to have most tours get into details of where they/how they store their crafting goodies. I love your space and am happy for you. I was crafting in my dark basement for a while before moving my crafting into my bedroom which was not ideal. This past Christmas my hubby agreed I should use our front room and dining room space as my new hobby room. I moved on it fast before he could change his mind. I got rid of living room furniture, kept the dining room table and Ikea cabinets and just added to the room. Because it is the first room you see when you walk into the house, I have decided to keep everything behind doors and drawers so as to keep the room looking neat and inviting. My cabinetry is from Ikea (hubby and adult kids chipped in) and it is white so the room looks bright and fresh. Love my new space. Been using it every night when I get home from work and on weekends. Have invited friends to come craft with me and will even begin doing some classes. Enjoy your space girl! I know I am enjoying mine.

I have to tell you that one of my pet peeves is when someone shows a beautiful, very matcha room, but when they open the drawers it’s a disaster. Lol. Ok, so maybe it just makes one of my eyes twitch, but never-the-less, it doesn’t take much to straighten them up. Yours are so neatly organized. Oh! And you have beautiful eyes, girl!

Love this! You are very pleasant to listen to. One suggestion.... you may want to get floor mats to go under your roller chairs. I had one before on carpet and it really wears the carpet down. Our recent new build I had tile put in my hobby room. TFS!❤️

I have an entire room to myself that I use for a jewelry business I have (direct sales, I don't make it) and for crafting. I don't like mixing both. I have one side for crafting and the other side with jewelry everywhere. Sure could use your help on how to use the space more effectively. I noticed the stamp from a friend is a Texas stamp! Nice! i love that lamp shade! Beautiful space and looks great for you and your daughter to enjoy. Agreed on work with what you got. We converted our closet in our bedroom to my "office" and it is a small walk in but being creative with storage and using lots of hanging things, carts that roll under the desk make it super usable and great. I love it! I have one turquoise lantern jar from target like you have! I use mine to hold my watercolor brushes. So fun! I have an art studio in my basement.

Thank you for the ideas. I have a craft room down in the basement. I had some really nice furniture down there but we got a bad storm that flooded the basement. I purchased some nice metal shelving that to replace my wood furniture but I'm having trouble making it 'cozy' now. Just takes time :-)

I love your new crafting space and love that you get to share it with your daughter! I have an entire room to myself that I use for a jewelry business I have (direct sales, I don't make it) and for crafting. I don't like mixing both. I have one side for crafting and the other side with jewelry everywhere. Sure could use your help on how to use the space more effectively. I noticed the stamp from a friend is a Texas stamp! Nice! I live in San Antonio:)

This is absolutely gorgeous! Lovely space and especially lovely that you encourage your daughter to be so creative! One thing though, use that Cinch!!! It's honestly one of the funnest tools ever! Think of all the pretty notebooks/scrapbooks!!!

i love that lamp shade! Beautiful space and looks great for you and your daughter to enjoy. Agreed on work with what you got. We converted our closet in our bedroom to my "office" and it is a small walk in but being creative with storage and using lots of hanging things, carts that roll under the desk make it super usable and great. Thanks for sharing yours.
I used a closet at one point as well! We can get really creative with our spaces!

I love it! I have one turquoise lantern jar from target like you have! I use mine to hold my watercolor brushes. So fun! I have an art studio in my basement.

Thank you for the ideas. I have a craft room down in the basement. I had some really nice furniture down there but we got a bad storm that flooded the basement. I purchased some nice metal shelving that to replace my wood furniture but I'm having trouble making it 'cozy' now. Just takes time :-)

Very nice clean neat space Lov it. I’m getting a new added on 580 sq ft space this spring. My footers are in have to wait for builder to come. I’m so excited. I agree use what I hv then.
