I displayed a tarpaulin on our gate to show support to a certain candidate but my mom removed it because she says it's stated in the Omnibus Election Code that gov't employees should be apolitical. I wasn't aware of that, and tinanggal niya kasi pwede daw po siya makasuhan. Eh ako po 'yung nage-express ng support, hindi naman po siya. Pwede po ba mag-post ng tarpaulin in behalf of me? She's a (government) nurse.
alam ko sakop ng freedom of expression yung pag show ng support through tarpaulin. ang hindi pwede is through your government function that you're expressing the support. IE. through being a government nurse, nag-susupport ka ng candidate. but as a private person in your private home, not a violation
Our Brgy conducted an Election for the Officers of the SENIOR Citizens' Association. Exempted ba sa Election Ban ang naturang Election. Tanong ko lang po, Hindi ba bawal ang ginawang Election ?
