    Dear Wes, It's so sweet of you to increase our lexis by making this video that is helpful in describing different places & their atomosphere.
    Lemme use some of them in my example -
    My name is Shaaz and I reside in India. As you know, India is one of the most picturisque and majestic places in the world. It has tranquil himalayas, quaint monuments, contemporary architecture & some overcrowded and bustling cities as well. Nonetheless, India has always been renowned for its magnificient architecture and The Taj Mahal is one of the iconic examples of it....!
    P. S. One thing I forgot to mention, India is a spacious and so are the hearts of this people. Always ready to embrace who wants to come here. ❤

    this is quite funny to watch as a native french speaker. Basically what I learned with your video is that 90% of avanced english vocabulary is just common french words

    • @InteractiveEng

      Yes, I think English has borrowed more words from French than any other language.

    Your video is really helpful to improve my English. I just want to ask you, why do you use past tense in the example instead of using present tense? for example; the view from the mountain top was picturesque and also in other examples. Could you please explain?

    • @InteractiveEng
      @InteractiveEng  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Glad you enjoyed the lesson. The sentence could have either tense. Using the past it then refers to someone's past experience.😊

    "It looked like it belonged, maybe 'on' a postcard." (2:12) Did I hear it correctly? Why 'on' not 'to'?
    Thanks for this very Interesting and educational video. I specially like your references to places you have visited.
