carlos morales lmao her mother was a drug addict and couldn’t take care of them so their grandparents had to adopt them. She was sexually abused by someone that was supposed to protect her in the sport that she’s dedicated her whole life to. She found out her brother is a murderer. She’s had to overcome a lot. She’s the greatest gymnast of all time and the fact that she’s black and has to deal with racists also isn’t easy. I really didn’t realize how many people were still racist until I saw comments on TH-cam videos of her.

My guess is that some male bench warmer in football, hockey, soccer, or baseball is still making more than her in endorsements b/c women get screwed (in more ways than one).

When Nastia said that during one of Simone's most recent championships (before this one), I felt that!
Simone has so many medals that she could melt them down and make a crown. Although giving her a crown would be easier, but She doesn't strike me as the type of person that tries the easy way of doing things.
And what’s crazy is I bet she could win a 3rd Olympic all around, even if she took two years off, came back, and did 3/4 the difficulty that she’s doing now. She is the most dominant athlete period. She’s never been beaten in an all around competition since the start of her senior career in 2013. 21/25 World medals are gold. That almost breaks the record itself. And what’s crazy is she still may unveil the triple twisting amanar... she’s out of this workd

What's scary is that she is the GOAT, all at a ripe age of 22. Twenty. Two.
She technically isn't even in her prime age yet! Imagine the rediculous heights she will raise the bar to at age 25, 28, 30. She can retire next year if she wanted to - she has nothing left to prove.
I hope Nike, Adidas and all these major sporting brands are scoping her out for major endorsements. If Tennis players and Golfers rake in these big dollars, surely Gymnasts should get a nice slice considering what they do is far more intense.
