In a way this story gave me hope I turn 20 this year and I currently have a knee injury and I am a big guy so I am trying my best to cut and get my IT band strong enough for the season. Luckily I have the support of my college mates like Josh Puente who is still currently a BD member and so many other DCI people in my trumpet studio and college marching band if I put my mind to it I can finally march a season. Although Bluecoats is not the same Bluecoats I looked up to as a kid (2015 era) I still have a huge emotional attachment to them and I hopefully will march with them before my age out.
Bloo alum here that aged out forever ago telling you to go and audition at the very least. Regardless of the how the corps changes it is a fantastic organization that will take care of you. I marched 8 seasons of DCI at 3 corps from 2003-2010 and my time at The Bluecoats was the best and when I started marching I never had any inkling of ever going there.
@@Scrubeez I definitely plan to it’s just hard seeing the visual that there is now a days knowing at my current state I can’t do it like if you told me to do a handstand on a prop right now I can not. It’s going to be a process to be able to join but if I make it then I am just proving myself I can always be a better version of myself no matter what mental limits I put on myself
I love the concept, I have a little piece feedback if you don't mind though! I think that if you had the camera set up next to you filming you instead of on your head it would be less of a headache to watch, it's just really shaky lol. Keep up the great content though, very inspiring story
Great story thanks for sharing. Your being at that lake reminded me of how going into corps you think of rehearsals and performance but so many great memories are from being in a random park or school in a town you have never heard of. Waking up on picnic tables in a rest stop because the bus broke and the other bus took the other half of the corps ahead and then came back for us. Good times.
I was not expecting that plot twist 😭. Great story!
I like this concept a lot
Same!
Like spending time with your friends and telling stories

Would love to see more of these videos!
Keep these up
More of these vids please!
Cool concept
I like the fishing idea. The camera movement made me sick. I turned the video off and just listened to it.
