Boleyn, Seymour and Howard will always have the same hairstyle as the principals (space buns, hair piece and half up-half down) but the other hairstyles are what the alternates decides to do Grace usually does a high pony or pins her hair back for Aragon, pins her hair back and frizzes it out for Cleves and there isn’t enough grace Parr’s so I can’t really tell what she does Vicki puts a spike in and pushes her hair back for Aragon, puts her hair in a high or low pony for Cleves and does a side pony for Parr Courtney (bc of similar hair texture) does a similar hairstyle as Jaye’J for Aragon and the same as Maiya for Parr and does a high pony for Cleves If you search up”megasix .......” and insert their name it’ll show edit versions of megasix with the alternate as every queen and you’ll see their hairstyles change😊
Since the lights in the megasixes are so bright, and since they change very frequently, TH-cam automatically put the video into 720p, instead of the usual 1080p, which is the clearest. I think TH-cam does this so your eyes aren’t straining to see the video, but I’m not sure. Anyway, the joke is that people want it to be the clearest it can be.
No hate to the understudies, but its just kinda off to see the Queens without the iconic,color-coded outfits. Like how Katherine Howard's violet costume is White here (a repeat of Jane seymour's)
i actually think vicki's outfit is really good! it's hard to see the colors in this video but in proper lighting, it really stands out amongst the rest. it's actually one of my favorite outfits, really.
all the alternates cover all 6 roles so it would be extremely expensive to have to make 24 costumes. The alternates’ costumes represent their main covers. So they have the style of their first cover and the colour of their other first cover. Eg: Grace’s first covers are Aragon and Seymour. Therefore her dress is the style of Aragon and the colour of Seymour :)
also because they’re swings which means they can cover all the roles. if they had the same costumes as the main actresses, the costume department would have to make six costumes per swing

To highlight them and honestly it’s better like that it shows how much the show cares for their alternates
