I was excited for you to upload the witch! I'm currently trying to get a win as her. My math brain came up with a few tricks (put spells on numbers they can use so doubles don't lock you down), but I keep dying on floors 4-5.
Edit: After writing this, I did a witch run and won! Yay for Price inspiration!

Yes! Witch is my favourite too, but I am totally a prepared witch, not an upgrader :P also, have never won as her...

If you can get any healing spell as the witch then it's easy mode, since you can spam hall of mirrors as necessary until you can end every single fight with full health. (Can take forever though)

The witch feels like such a frustrating character to play.

She's actually quite versatile. The fact that you can prepare spells before combat, and build your spells during combat lets you adapt to the enemies, which makes things quite a lot easier ;)
