Went from Electra Glide to a Suzuki Bandit to keep up with my son’s bikes then to a Russian Ural Sidecar for wife’s comfort. 7 yrs later got my 08’ Roadstar. Best bike I ever had.
+Matt Young >>I had a Vulcan 1500 and its of course liquid cooled, which makes it a quieter motor with it hydraulic lifters etc. I now have a 2006 Roadstar 1700cc bike and am loving it! It has more power and at highway speed the rpms are very low which makes for a nice long trip!...I have the Roadstar "midnight star" model which has leather bags and windshield....Also it has a ton of HD chrome on it.....either bike is a winner in my book, but I like the extra power on the Yamaha.
Doesn't this channel have anybody else they can use to sample the bike? It's always this short, quiet, inoffensive guy who rides like he's in a funeral cortege. Find somebody who is 250lbs, about 6 - 4 or taller and rides like he's just broke out of prison. We might then find out something useful about the bike - like how hard can you corner it before the pegs or frame threaten to turf you off it!
well im 230 went from suzki bandit 1200...this thing rides 'heavy' turns with little lean over..on th other hand, very comfortable, sounds great, not fast just a lumbering big wannabe harley...front brakes ok but not great..

This is the same road I cruise with my 06 great ride. Cool vid
And it is still a beautiful motorcycle.
Change the title FFS 04 is the first year of the 1700 NOT 1600.
Another Harley Killer ! Hassle free engine .... Japanese improved the Cruiser 🤙🏁🏁
would not be much to be better than Harley
malcolm mathers to be honest... anything is better than a Harley.
@@ronhard7544 What is so bad about Harleys, just curious?
A good looking bike that is always braking apart and expensive......@AntoniOrszykowski
best bike ever
Ride an 02 Roadstar Midnight , absolutely perfect motorcycle , wouldnt want to ride anything else
My first bike is a 00 roadstar 1600, it's great to learn on for a 800 pound machine!
01 midnight :)

What is the cost of a 2004 yamaha 1700 rhoadstar
I can’t believe this bike is heavier than the roadliner (1854 cc)
That disclaimer sticker on the tank really makes the bike look tricked out.
Anyone ride both a Vulcan 1500 classic and this can compare?.. Kinda wish I got this
