@@suburbanhomestead put an earthen pot with a small hole, tied with a rope, in your garden and fill it up with water. It will do drip irrigation to your vegetable garden.

The way you describe fall makes me envious watching from Australia and our very not so "american" seasons.

I love watching your videos. Each time I watch it’s like Mr. Olson from “Little House on the Prarie” is showing me how he gardens. Your artful word choice is the icing on the cake.

I watched a video yesterday were some guy burrier a clay pot with lid & filled with water in the middle of his 4x4 garden and that would keep his plants watered for a while, until the clay pot ran dry. Then he would just take off the lid and fill it up with water again. it was buried up to the edge of the lid. I forget who he gave credit to but it was an older type of civilization.

I love everything about your videos!! Everything from the beginning stamp icons to the subtleties captured, like the cat on the porch, the views of the garden, the whole relaxing way everything works together in simplicity. I just watched the swiss chard video as well, with the beautiful cooking and plate palette. The way you bring everything together makes me see gardening as an addition to my art, rather than as the chore I have been seeing it as.

It is. It roams the neighborhood, and at times takes shelter in my porch on rainy nights.

When I watch your videos I don't have much to say as its a series of thoughts in the pretty much 'hey that's great' genre.
I did want to mention how aqueducts and flooding techniques have been used in agriculture for thousands of years and are pretty low effort once the structures have been built. There were STILL Roman irrigation channels being used in Portugal when I was there 20 plus years ago. Its amazing how far and efficiently they were moving water.

Also my radishes nearly always just bolt, except when I accidentally drop seeds somewhere, the random ones that pop up seem to do better.

Have you tried radish seed pods? They're awesome. You should let some of them go to seed and try. I plant a lot of radish so some unintentionally bold and go to seed. But fear not, they make pretty flowers and then I get to eat tasty seed pods. They're great fresh or sauteed. Give them a try!

I missed my planting window for radishes and I think it's too late now that it's getting into the mid 30's at night

Depending on where you live it may be too late especially if it is already mid 30's. You should plant in August.
