Man this is about the 3rd comment I’ve left on this channel hahah don’t wanna blow no ones comment section up but if anyone is gone “cowboy up” and give this a shot like I did ..it was smooooth sailin until I got down to FOLDING SIDES OVER to make the yapp thing and lemme tell ya I have YET to find a glue that works with the kind of “LEATHER” I got .. went to Wally World and got some of that material that looks like leather and it is horrible for adhesive to stick to it. Wanted to save $ till I knew what I was doin some more but just my opinion I think anyone starting out it’s better to go with real leather right out the gate. Just throwin that out there haha and if anyone uses that and it sticks good for them pleasssse lmk what u used haha preciate it

A few things: Have you tried the scissors from Tonic or Tim Holtz? They are fantastic and come in several sizes. Second, curious if you have tried anything between your brayer (roller) and the leather to keep it cleaner? :: Those white plastic tools are called palette knives, they also come in metal but plastic work just fine. :: I just purchased Diego's book, I'm an artist with ADHD so I tend to want to do it all. I have a LOT of leather scraps and have only played around with different leatherwork some over the years but I LOVE a beautiful, fine leather Bible, I have one Allan NASB and I have a 1984 NIV that was my Dad's preaching Bible. I have a few Bibles that I LOVE the insides of but the covers are either bonded or synthetic and I want to recover them. :: I don't know yet what you use the ink for but I LOVE Versafine by Tsukineko for crisp stamping and quality. :: Hope any of this is helpful to you as I just found you thanks to my dad and I can already tell that I'm going to learn a lot from you!

Yeah, agreed. I now edit my videos and cut them down to much smaller sizes and try to condense the content down for the viewer. This video was produced prior to my use of an editing program.

This may be a stupid question but are you able to rebind a glued hardback cover bible with a Smyth sewn premium leather?
