- Continuing from the last video ( I left home to live in Bali ) I was on a journey to see if the grass was greener away from home and wanted to see what the lifestyle was like for a creator living in Bali. But 2 months in I had a big scooter accident in Sekumpul. This is the story of what went down that night.

Here is everything that went down after my accident in Bali. What a journey the year after was. Not only the accident, but a lot of things in between that piled up on me all at once, Chronic fatigue, hair loss, unworthiness, falling behind on goals and this video is a resemblance of all those things. Hope you have been enjoying my journey through life so far. I'll be taking a big break to work on my filmmaking course, as that's my number 1 priority, and also working on myself (: not sure when I'll be back but I'll be uploading again one day in the future. I actually cried while watching your story. You documented it so well. I've been through the exact same thing. I had a scooter accident in 2018, during which I completely shattered my left arm (and I'm also left-handed). I couldn't do anything by myself, and I was living alone. I had two surgeries and almost two years of recovery. I just wanted to let you know that I completely understand what you've been through. You are strong, and you got this. I crashed my scooter in Bali, with my wife on the back. I'm a fully licenced rider (hot tip for anyone travelling if you want to be covered by insurance) but we hit oil and slid out on a corner with a bike with crappy tires. The locals were amazing, like you experienced. And like you I was lucky it wasn't much worse. Keep sharing your art my friend, you are talented and will bounce back from this. Your storytelling is a gift, and the vulnerability you weave into it has the power to impact more people than you think.

Late to this, but glad I finally got back to watch it. This one really got to me, hearing that it was a year ago now. I was recovering from shoulder surgery around that time (collarbone as well) and had no idea you were going through all this then. Some of these struggles displayed in the video are so relatable and feels like people don't truly know how stuff like this goes unless they've gone through it themselves. Glad to see you're recovering well, even if a lot was a major delay on life itself. You're a trooper, Benn. Glad Jamie and Sara were with you to help as well, very good people in your corner it seems. Wishing you the best and can't wait to see you back at full force!

I had a scooter accident earlier this year, broke my right nose, my right cheek, and had a strong concussion. Watching this brought back memories and feelings I felt. It was emotional seeing your journey, because it's so relatable in a way. My nose and right cheek were just bothering, my concussion however, really messed with my mental health and physical being. I didn't know if I was ever going to feel normal again. I am thankful nothing worst happened to me. Thanks for spreading positivity through such a hard time in your life, your positivity impacted me in a personal way and I am sure it will impact other people as well.

Spectacular filmmaking and storytelling - you are an incredible talent! Showing the highs and lows of your life in such a thoughtful way provides some valuable lessons on both enjoying the best moments life has to offer and changing the way you think about things you can't control. I see my boys struggle with the idea of hair loss. The best decision I ever made was to shave my head at 23 and never think about it again. As you say there are more important things to worry about. Wishing you a full and speedy recovery.

It's amazing to see you putting such a great video together while recovering from that. I had one of my worst motorbike accidents on Bali as well but not as bad as this one. Hope that it's alright again and looking forward to seeing more videos from you soon again after your course is finished.

Back in 2021 I also broke my collarbone in a motorcycle accident. I understand the inner loneliness that your film is trying to convey, but I believe there must be a lot of amazing people taking care of you during your recovery. Thank you for sharing your journey. It reminds me of that time when I almost gave up on myself. BTW🤣 I watched most of your films many times during those months I was recovering, knowing the beautiful world is still out there waiting for me is one of the biggest motivations for me, so again, HUGE HUGE thanks to you Benn!!!

Nice video Benn, I dislocated my ankle last year playing football (soccer). Didn’t kick a ball for a year. I defo resonate with those times stuck at home just dwelling, pondering over what ifs. Dam, this bought a tear to my eye! great video and explains exactly what you go through during an injury... I hurt my ankle bad in a Thailand and im still yet to walk 3 weeks later. no broken bones just a grade 2/3 liniment damage with no end in sight atm. thank you for this video ❤
