I love Surge XT, brilliant synth, and free, I really should make a video. There is also a free delay effect called Deelay, possible the best delay ever.
I love this app …been using a lot in my most recent music . If you turn off the drums and just play it with the GarageBand keyboard you can have a really good 303 line . If you use the presets , make sure to turn off the sequencer or it will continue to play the default sequence line
🤙🤙 It is, still though how with Garageband, do we record drum midi note changes, like how the baseline can? I hear Logic Pro had a work around, however I missed Logic Pro as now my iPad Pro 9” can no longer update to the latest iPadOS
I use it extensively in GarageBand ; if you use the presets at all make sure you turn off the sequencer if you don’t want it to play at inopportune times. GarageBand doesn’t really handle midi note changes well so you have to do workarounds. I tend to do a part, merge track, split and delete unwanted sections, and then add a new Pure Acid instance and do the next part
Doug's back on acid! Cool video - thank you & thumbs up!
I love aciiiiiiiiid ❤
Nothing beats good old caustic's bassline synth when it comes to acid😂😂
its great. Only bad that it is not available as Audio unit extension so i can use it in AUM ..
@@saardean4481 yeah i know, i was being half sarcastic. Now i use surge XT oscillators for that

@@TheSoundTestRoom hmm don’t know this one. For iOS ? Can’t find it in the App Store
@@TheSoundTestRoom yes please make one about surge XT, even more than one to cover all their modules😍

Epic
The pointless preset is simply amazing in this app

With out any doubt sounds amazing, and coupled with the launch control XL hardware it’s a KILLER 🫶
