Another idea on scraps for clusters and more: Luise Heinzl has a fun video called 'pimp up your scraps' or something like that, where she places a pile of scraps in a cardboard box and sprays them with coffee, paint splatters, oxyde colors colors mixed w water and dribbled all over always mixing the papers! In the end they come out very pretty!!

I finally managed to create a master board by collaging but I just can't bring myself to make clusters. Maybe it's just to abstract for my brain. Your tips have guided me to give the clusters a try. I'm glad I can use up my scraps for these!

I love the varieties in your papers. I know it takes a lot longer, but mine end up looking better when I ink the edges. Even if you use contrasting papers, the inking adds more dimension. I absolutely love your channel and I have learned more from watching you than anyone else. You always add options for us that don’t depend on having fancy stuff. You are hilarious and always inspire me.

I think that trying the cheese cloth paper trick would be worth trying because even if you can't remove the paper from the cheesecloth, the cloth could be left on to add texture.
It may not be something you'd do more than once, but it has potential

Pam, I have a very old discontinued Cricut that I love. I am not going to upgrade to the newer ones that you download from the internet. It has cartridges and I have bunches of them, and I enjoy it so much. I saw a "new" one demonstrated, and it blew my mind, so I just use and use and use my old one. I have used the tiny cutouts in clusters before. I love the way you put them together, and I am planning to make some soon to use up some scraps. I love your statements "use what you have" and "It doesn't have to be perfect." Makes it more fun. Thanks for all you do.

Re: heavier pages in front and back of books...yes they are commonly called 'end sheets', end papers and less commonly fly leaf. Never fly sheets which are literally CA cloth that goes over horses to protect from flies 😄. My mother used to order Bibles for kids and brands with their names in holding and would order several end papers in front and back for notes.

I have been wanting to ask you this for a very long time….like from back when you were making a book…..TIVEK truly is the best of the best….but it sticks together, even if you fold it back on itself, or the end of the roll around a a toothpick Or a bobby pin, or a piece of cardboard…or whatever else you can grab. No matter how careful I am, the tape splits when I am ready to use it again. It is expensive, and I end up finally cutting thru 10 or 11 layers that sometimes letme get a whole piece but usually doesn’t. I have watched you hundreds of timeS AND YOURS COMES RIGHT OFF THE ROLL STRAIGHT AS A. NEW ROLL. There's a secret…..has to be…how😊 can I keep that tape from ruining more than I can use.?? PS thank you

Just do it :) 😀 when it starts to smell or gets moldy throw it out and bleach the bottle and sprayer.
