I agree! I do think Don Giovanni is THE Opera of all operas! No matter how many times I listen to it (and it's... a LOT haha), I always find something new that amazes me. Truly a masterpiece.

Non voglio giudicare la musica o l'interpretazione ma la tecnica rispetto ai grandi del 900 la loro tecnica scadente piena di atteggiamenti costrittivi i cantanti moderni la cui maggior parte microfonati. No! La lirica è la ricerca di due secoli e mezzo di risonanza nel corpo per diffondersi nel teatro con l'orchestra sopra che pare un cannone di guerra. I cantanti moderni senza sistemi di microfonazione non li sentono più dalla quarta fila in poi se non iniziassero ad urlare tutti.
