I can’t believe the day is here! Hope y’all enjoy episode 1, we will be premiering each episode on Sundays at 10am ET if you want to join us in the live chat ❤️
This is where I found this channel and watched every single video released after this and many of the previous videos, now came back to rewatch the entire series
Holy @$&+!! I’ve watched a lot of content this year and this THIS! just shot up to the top of my list. It’s the most polished and well-structured storytelling plus crisp and direct-to-the-point visualizations of a self-produced cross-country docu-series. A truly excellent first episode! _As someone who’s been watching since the home renovation vids of NFland and the tutorials and vlogging vids of Vancouver, I’m always amazed at what Becki and Chris can make in their videos and where they take them year after year. The hard work put in and challenges they overcome over the years only propels them towards grander endeavors in the future._ *Looking forward to the rest of the series, Becki and Chris!*
If I told someone else this was done by two people, I doubt anyone would believe me unless I said Becki and Chris! Your work is absolutely incredible! The amount of effort and passion you put into these projects is truly impressive! Loved this and am super excited for the next episodes!! Great work guys!
368k sub's is a lot of people, but for the time, effort, cost and pure quality of an edit that you produce i think you are well undervalued. well done for all you do and i wish you every success.. i have been following for a few years now. Good luck from a fellow Heli pilot here in the UK
I didn’t know I would be interested in helicopters. But then again, this is Becki and Chris, who can seemingly make anything interesting. Excited for the series!
The fact that you guys can balance high production value and still keep it feeling like authentic TH-cam is a superpower! I always imagine, as a youtube editor myself, all the work that you have to do to sync all the audio, find the story beats, and edit it all together is just a load of work! I really appreciate the creativity and work it takes to film these series! Props to the editor(s)
Oh my god. I have been waiting for this series for sooo long. I was not disappointed 😍😍😍 I love the "interview" setting in the hangar, but the whole episode was pure magic. Only disappointing thing was that the episode ended. 🚁
Honestly, lets be real for a second... Becki and Chris make better content then most if not all Streaming platforms. Visually, auditorily, and in the story and emotions they lay out. Stunning work you two. Was honestly devastated this only came out an hour ago and I cant watch ep 2 right away...
Wow! You are taking production quality and storytelling to the next level. Just from this first episode, I feel like this series needs to be on a major network! Nice job on the edit, really enjoyed this one.
Guys, I have to admit, I've been away from this channel for a longgg time, I don't have a good excuse as to why. This the first vid I've watched of your's since Covid and within the first 15 seconds of hitting play I got the goosepimples and am already feeling inspired to get out there. You guy have influenced my own film production in a major way and I'd just like to say, it's bloody great to be back! (also, if your in BC this year at all please drop me a line, I'd love to meet you guys)
I friggin love this! I’ve wanted to watch this so bad, but haven’t had time, and didn’t want to watch it in pieces. So happy I waited till I could sit down and watch on the big screen from start to finish. Well done and I’m looking forward to future episodes.
I'm stressed out just watching this first episode! My wife and I are full-time travelers - we sold everything we own except what we have in a carry-on suitcase and backpack each. But what we do seems so much easier than how you've had to pack for this cross-country trip. Also, we have booked Airbnbs months in advance for every destination. Traveling without any lodging makes me nervous. It certainly looks exciting, but I couldn't do it. I bow before your ability to handle all these challenges while documenting it all and creating a cohesive story. We write scripts and produce weekly episodes for our TH-cam channel (@findingGinaMarie), but making sure you have the shot list covered for this trip is also a ton of work. I'm so impressed. You two are incredibly inspiring! Cheers!
I love that you loaded your incredibly important documents into Wegmans bags. Wegmans is the best. And you two are so amazing! I am really looking forward to the rest of this series. Thank you for making awesome content.
First of all, AMAZING debut episode!! I can't wait to see the rest of this series! A few questions if you get a minute to answer: 1. Does the skin of the aircraft wear out? I'm a little confused why the paint job won't be spared when you see 50-year-old crackling paint jobs on 172s all over the place😂 2. On that note, what's the difference between a brand-new helicopter & a rebuilt one? Surely they can't replace literally everything- what components stay? 3. Why does Robinson require the El Paso route? Feels a bit arbitrary- are there conditions they need to make sure pilots have dealt with before they can feel good about selling them a heli?
Becky, don't worry about the heat. You have a large fan above your head that keeps you and Chris cool. If you don't think it is a fan you should see how Chris starts sweating when the fan stops spinning mid air.
I just realized how long I’ve been watching the journey on TH-cam when I could recall the anticipation behind the first helicopter series and when the helicopter was purchased! You guys rock! Thanks for allowing us to be a part of your community and journey ❤
Really excited for this series, @BeckiandChris! I have the opportunity to fly with my brother from time to time, and we once flew in an R22 under the Golden Gate about 10 years ago. It's always a treat when I get to fly with him. We recently found out that we're 2nd cousins of the Wright brothers (...5 times removed!), so we'll definitely have to put that museum on our todo list. Looking forward to your future videos!
What a life style, did yall ever think you wouldn't ever have the money to do any of this after high school at such a good age? Having your own apartment to a house, to having a truck, helicopter / hanger & being well loved within the filmmaking community? I'm 28 & a creator but honestly I just want out of my grandparents home & live my life freely. your videos keep some form of motivation for me & I appreciate that 🙏🏾
Haha after high school we had no idea about how our life would end up, certainly didn’t expect to be living where we are now! But I think rolling with whatever life throws your way and being ok with the ups and downs helps. You’re still very young, don’t forget we’re like 10 years older than you! We are also very lucky to both be working, and have two very different careers which provides diversity to hedge against fluctuations in income. Lastly, don’t fall into the trap of comparing, it’s a sure fire way to be unhappy. -C
Amazing, Fabulous 😃 Looks like we are watching some TV/Netflix Series 👏 Great Visuals, editing and storyline. Really looking forward for upcoming episodes. All the best B&C 🤠👍
So awesome to be watching and traveling along with y'all! Great first episode! Felt like I was watching a Discovery+ show. Such great production and I know a lot of time went into this. I can't imagine having to fly a helicopter across the country, let alone plan a production alongside it. Y'all are rocking it out! And a bonus gem in this episode was finding out that you've been to Wise, VA! I lived there for 10 years. Anywhooo...can't wait for episode 2!
I live about 3 mins away from the airport in Cape Girardeau, MO. I was excited the last time Chris came here while you were in Florida with your parents. So excited you came here again, looking forward to the rest of the series!
Came back to re-watch this as we plan a big trip West for our own flying channel. You went South West, and we'll be going North West to the Arctic Ocean and the Yukon. Anyway, what struck me is the fluidity of language around the 8:17 mark. When Chris says "the El Paso Route" as one sentence he says it in American 'Rowt', but when using Route in any other sentence he says it in Canadian 'Root'.
Just talked to my wife about doing a GA (fixed wing) trip from Dallas to Maine next year. Should probably bring the fx3s with us.. Cant wait for more of this series!!!
Becki and Chris you all continue to set the ball high for these types of series. I look forward to Sundays just to grab my cup of coffee and watch the latest episode. Can’t wait to see how the trio really went 😅
They also require you to fly the El Paso route solo! Without a greater takeoff weight of 2200 lbs, only for the “eastbound” ferry route, though. Also, can only be flown between April 1st to October 31st
I can’t believe the day is here! Hope y’all enjoy episode 1, we will be premiering each episode on Sundays at 10am ET if you want to join us in the live chat ❤️
25 minutes long !!! *chefs kiss* perfect
@@SpencerHogg🙏🏼🙏🏼
lol I literally screamed out loud when I saw this was out 😂 I stopped everything I was doing to watch!
@@richardwestwood1omg 🙏🏼 enjoy!
Oh no this is torture! I don't want to wait another week to see the first episode!!!
This is where I found this channel and watched every single video released after this and many of the previous videos, now came back to rewatch the entire series
This is freaking exciting… you guys are great documentarians!
Thank you so much!!

Your editing it’s amazing, feels like an actual TV show and not just a TH-cam video
I didn’t know I would be interested in helicopters. But then again, this is Becki and Chris, who can seemingly make anything interesting.
Excited for the series!
I never thought I’d be interested in Helicopters either 😂 thanks my friend!
You know the serie will be awsome when even the pre-trip episode is exciting. Great job building the tension!
Thanks much! The weather always makes things a little dicey 😂

Thanks for the thoughtful comment! It’s just becki, she’s a one person army 💪

@BeckiandChris i kind of figured! Lol, she is a total boss!
you guys are goals !!!
This video was really well done. I'm looking forward to the next episode.
So so so good guys… a true joy to watch
Yes !!!! So stoked for this series
This was amazing! The colors, the pacing, and the story!! Super excited to follow the adventure and see what you guys go through!!
Oh my god. I have been waiting for this series for sooo long. I was not disappointed 😍😍😍 I love the "interview" setting in the hangar, but the whole episode was pure magic. Only disappointing thing was that the episode ended. 🚁

@@BeckiandChris If you ever come to Australia and I hope you do, it'd be an honour and a pleasure to show you around.
It is finally here, This should be a Netflix show or something! The quality is Insane, and the storytelling... just amazing!
I think I’m most impressed by how insanely organized you guys are! Never mind the incredible videography! Exciting stuff guys 💪💪
Wow! You are taking production quality and storytelling to the next level. Just from this first episode, I feel like this series needs to be on a major network! Nice job on the edit, really enjoyed this one.
As a professional helicopter pilot, I love that you guys have your own helicopter. And this causes me to want to get one, too.
Love it! 🔥Excited for the next episodes. The work put into these heli series is just astounding! Thank you.

When autumn comes around you know your favourite production team delivers top notch content for these cosy evening viewings !!!! 🔥
The best days are Becki & Chris long form content days! Psyched for this adventure!
Kept this series in the bank so i can binge 3 episodes now. Appreciate all the effort as always, truly inspirational.
What a daunting, exciting adventure! I love your storytelling, Becki. Very hard to click away. Thank you. 🦘🇦🇺
Had to wear my Heading West shirt today in support on the series drop! Stoked for the rest of the episodes
Love those helicopter's episodes, how you prepare the trip, how you manage weather and weight constraints...
