The 10 death powerspike is a meme that does have some ties to the champs actual powerspikes. By the time you would hit 10 deaths in the game, you generally have enough gold to be 2 items, which is one of the biggest spikes in the entire game on yasuo.
@@jackalcor9966 Yeah which is why I stopped playing cuz that shit pissed me off I'm probably more skill with an adc and could have a perfect game and still lose but a yasuo can start out 0 and fucking 10 and still win.
You see, he has a strategy. By diving further and further into danger, he makes the enemies chase him, reducing their time to farm and gank other lanes
It's really kind of a thing with Yasuo. He's one of the few champions in the game can that actually catch up from behind by just powerfarming because he is very good at it, and he's always had a good late game. So eventually he's going to hit 12k+ total gold spent and be relevant no matter how far behind he was earlier. 2 days ago i had a yasuo in my team that went 0/10/0, then he magically started taking some kills and assists. But unfortunately we lost because top was also hard feeding with 15 deaths
If anybody wants a bit more detailed explanation about the 0/10 powerspike; it has to do with both items and levels. Everybody knows that at 2 items Yasuo has 100% crit and that's a huge powerspike whether you get it at minute 15 or minute 30, but what's a lot easier to get at minute 30 than minute 15 is level 13. Level 13 is also a huge powerspike for Yasuo because his shield regenerates faster and grows bigger with level and his E's on-target cooldown goes down when ranked up (at max rank it has 6 seconds rather than it's original 10, allowing Yasuo to dash out with the same target he dashed in, early on you have to keep track on which minions you dashed to). Level 13 is when his shield starts growing exponentially, regens the fastest, his E and Q are both maxed and when his ultimate has rank 2 to become spammable at 55 seconds CD.
I've said this before on other channels/videos, about how the Yasuo 0/10 power spoke is real: ... Once he has this ridiculously low power spike built, he goes from doing rubbish damage as he dies horribly to doing more than twice as much damage as before (Q spam) while healing as he does so. It's night and day, landing consistent crits vs dealing only base damage. ... Basically, Yasuo gets enough gold to buy this core and go into 1v5 mode by the time he dies ~10 times by playing badly. If Yasuo is played well, he accelerates getting to this core. So bad Yasuo mains risk everything, trying to get to the build core earlier so that they can start snowballing earlier. They don't care much about dying; it means almost nothing to die, especially early. They will outscale everyone no matter what they are against, so all they have to do is keep going in and maybe get a bit of extra gold. It's not the best way to play Yasuo, but because his power ceiling is WAY TOO DAMN HIGH then even bad Yasuo players are effective Yasuo players. ... One thing RIOT needs to do is nerf Yasuo's early power scaling. Probably the way to go is adding extra cooldown to Q, so that Yasuo needs to build more Attack Speed before Q is fast enough for Yasuo to seemlessly combo. This way he either struggles to charge up an empowered Q, or he delays getting to nearly 100% crit for longer. It would be more in line with the power spike timing of other hyper-scaling champions. We'd see an initial dip in Yasuo's winrate as all the potato players suddenly started losing every game, but as they gravitated to other still-broken champions his winrate would stabilize. RIOT just needs to be patient there. ... Another thing RIOT needs to do is nerf Yasuo's power ceiling. He's beyond busted once he has enough items. "You can just cc him and kill him" is not an argument -- he has two ways (Wind Wall and dashing to/through targets) to avoid cc which is more than most champions get, and literally every champion in the game dies to being chain cc'd so that's not a Yasuo weakness (in fact Yasuo due to getting free crit chance can more easily slot in defensive items than most other champions; bruiser Yasuo is scary AF). The way to nerf his power ceiling, imo, is to slow his Attack Speed based cooldowns when he is affected by a movement speed slow (by the appropriate amount). This forces him to build more Attack Speed and less AD to make sure he can get off clean combos; otherwise he's taking big risks even at full build. ... If you think Yasuo is dumb now, wait until Yasuo mains finally realize that not all of Yasuo's button cooldowns are based on Attack Speed. There's sleeper tech on Yasuo that nobody is running atm; Navori Quickblade. It gives Yasuo a Wind Wall that is up ridiculously often, and the 30 Ability Haste is great for getting his ult back online frequently. been through this.. both in pc and mobile.. got a friend who is a yasuo main and always only ranks with me.. and its one hell of a ride.. he either feeds to the end, or get to be one of those late game comeback gods
I have actually had the 10 death power spike happen to me. To the point our nexus was under attack, and from there, we pushed through a previously undamaged lane, shoved through all four turrets, the inhib, and hit the nexus. The power spike is real.
If you listen closely, you can hear the anime protagonist music starting when he hits his 10th death. Turns out 10 deaths power spike is just plot armor.
Yasuo main here, i must confirm the 10 death power spike. See the problem is if you fall behind you are usless untill you get atleast 2 items. First issue is to utilise your champion (dash and tornados) u have to atack minions wich means you have to push the lane, so you are more exposed to ganks, tough i think jungler just like ganking yasuo anyway. So maybe you die leaving enemy on 1%, maybe u get ganked, maybe u make a silly mistake and still think to your self i can still outplay, so u try to fight again. At that point team starts flaming you couse they have inting yasuo and it just doesnt make you play any better. After u are just going trough the game, completly usless, spliting, ulting anything, and farming in hope to get some items, while offering free kill to anybody who wants to take it. When u finaly have some items (10 deaths later) u are basicly doing same thing u were before, except now your atacks DO DAMAGE, and all of a suden you are godlike. My best personal exaple is one game from a few years back i was 0/8, all lanes losing, 20 min in, 2 inhibs down i manage to get 3 shutdowns. I finished the game 21/9 and hard caried that shit.
In a minor attempt to counter the inevitable onslaught of criticism of your performance in the comments, rav, let me point out the strength it took to not smash the heal button @ 7:30, so it wasn't just wasted. Great play there my man.
Was just talkin about this yesturday. A Yasuo called our stomping Morde "champ carried" yet his champ can soft int and still somehow become a hyper carry. Truly amazing.
When an anime villain becomes immortal, pummels the living shit out of the protagonist, breaking his every bone, draining his soul, and affects him with an ability that will 100% kill him... but then the plot armor kicks in.
I never noticed the windshitter syndrome until I started watching you, now whenever I see either wind twin I see all the boxes checked off. And god help me if they windshitters queue together
In all seriousness, I honestly believe the reason the 10 Death Powerspike is a thing is that many Yasuos play their early game like they're at full build -I know I do this WAY too often sadly. It's weird you just expect to have lower cooldowns and higher damage than you do, and go in for plays that don't work when you don't even have a full item. The number of times I dash around minions autistically at Mach -10 or die voz my Q cooldown is too long is painfully high

had a yuumi Yas bot lane vs us and we 0/10'd him with 6 on the yuumi. felt like a joke. he promptly handed our asses back to us 2v4 for the rest of the game and ended well over 20 kills 10 deaths.
Champion design.
Same thing happened to my teammate. Yasuo gets powerspikes more easily than other champs. It's why I ban him every game. I hate his whole kit.
been through this.. both in pc and mobile.. got a friend who is a yasuo main and always only ranks with me.. and its one hell of a ride.. he either feeds to the end, or get to be one of those late game comeback gods
9:46 Just brilliant
Recovering like this is possible for some characters anyway(like windshi$$er, and Yi) but if you would have 1/10 adc, there is no come back
I have actually had the 10 death power spike happen to me. To the point our nexus was under attack, and from there, we pushed through a previously undamaged lane, shoved through all four turrets, the inhib, and hit the nexus.
The power spike is real.
Sometimes, stupidity can reach to a level which beyond our imagination
The only fairytale about the ,,Ten Death Powerspike" is them magically dissappearing from game xD
Adc: why u are 0/9, u said u will carry this game
Yasuo: just hold up in there bud, im almost at full power
If you listen closely, you can hear the anime protagonist music starting when he hits his 10th death.
Turns out 10 deaths power spike is just plot armor.
6:37 Rav this is the funniest shit ever this is why your my favorite league creator rn
This has been a joke in my discord forever because I started league playing yasuo and they always said just wait till your 10 death power spike
6:00-6:14 god this is why i love this channel
Thanks for making the obligatory Raid Shadow Legends advertisement actually bearable.
1:57 Rav, stop spying on me please.
I prefer the 4/10 yasuos. They can achive what is called powerfeeding dying but taking kills so they still worth money to the enemy :]
I fucking died over “more biased than a person with two asses”
2:48 I normally wouldn't because I like to support the creators I follow but I just love the squish of piss between my toes
I also just got un permabanned for the second time. Should I feel proud? Is this an achievement? Certainly not a record..... yet
This man can appreciate a Robert Frost reference.
This man gave a thumbs up
Yasuo main here, i must confirm the 10 death power spike.
I finished the game 21/9 and hard caried that shit.
the 10 death powerspike; if you go 0/10/x on a wind shitter, Riot disconnects you and has someone from Plat or higher play in your stead
This reminds me of that SpongeBob episode with Handsome Squidward.
The more his head is slammed into a door the better he becomes
Dude way to find a way to make the ad read actually entertaining lol
Maybe every Yas is challenger and they try to die 10 times to add a lil extra challenge
In a minor attempt to counter the inevitable onslaught of criticism of your performance in the comments, rav, let me point out the strength it took to not smash the heal button @ 7:30, so it wasn't just wasted. Great play there my man.
One Yasuo syndrome I noticed, backing near the tier 2 mid tower right before the enemy team. Always fun catching them as Skarner lol.
That line about Robert Frost was incredible. Love it
Was just talkin about this yesturday. A Yasuo called our stomping Morde "champ carried" yet his champ can soft int and still somehow become a hyper carry. Truly amazing.
people r stupid mord takes more skill then you'd think because if you get hit by cc in a teamfight as mord you die
When an anime villain becomes immortal, pummels the living shit out of the protagonist, breaking his every bone, draining his soul, and affects him with an ability that will 100% kill him... but then the plot armor kicks in.
when you find your little brother playing on your account halfway through a match
I swear, you are the only person whos ads i not only watch but enjoy watching
Rav, you've become my fav youtuber right now!
Have you heard of the 1/30 master yi power spike
Literally someone just took over for him. Obviously a friend or a brother was watching, and had enough and put him to bed.
I never noticed the windshitter syndrome until I started watching you, now whenever I see either wind twin I see all the boxes checked off. And god help me if they windshitters queue together
Loving your stuff man. At this point I like the video before even watching because I know its gonna be a good one.
My theory is that they make all the mistakes they have on que in the first half, and make all the correct decisions afterwards
These raid sponsors get better and fucking better 🤣🤣 I fucking love these promos
I watched that raid add 3 times over , amazing =))
In all seriousness, I honestly believe the reason the 10 Death Powerspike is a thing is that many Yasuos play their early game like they're at full build -I know I do this WAY too often sadly. It's weird you just expect to have lower cooldowns and higher damage than you do, and go in for plays that don't work when you don't even have a full item. The number of times I dash around minions autistically at Mach -10 or die voz my Q cooldown is too long is painfully high
I cant shake the feeling that everytime Rav is doing someone syndrome, its just Heiz helping his buddy with making a video.
I LOVE YOU AND UR FKING CONTENT !!!!!!
He makes fcking content?
On onlyfans?
hes married whats wrong with u
This person needs a raise
The Yasuo's and Yone's I've seen just keep feeding until we lose or carry them to a win while they spam forfeit.
Rav that's a nice captain outfit, keep up the good work! I've heard being a pilot pays more than TH-cam.
I always remember to like the video during the ads at the start cause they are just so damn good that rav deserves every bit of support. Rav you rule!
Raid Shadow Legends Is My Favorite Game!!!!¡!!!!!!iiii!!!!!!!!¡¡¡Iiiiii!!!!!!!!!!
(Im definitely not being untruthful). 3:00
