I am facing a slight problem...after setting the value of the parent to 0 for the locator, I set the previous keyframe as a set key for the ball. But, for the previous frames as well, that position gets set for the ball, it is no longer in the hand, but at the position where I had set the key. Why is it happening? It would really be great if you can help me out.

Seems when I set my character's keyframe, it loses up/down movement on controls but maintains rotation control, or it seems to also lose hierarchy control. Not sure why.
I am currently working on a mobile character manipulated by "quick rig", but I have a serious problem creating animation. My problem is that when I set up a keyframe controller, it sets all controllers at the same time and at current positions. For example, when I set up a keyframe for the right arm controller, it defines the left arm, chest, hips, right leg, and left leg controller as well. But when I set the key for simple articulation, it doesn't affect other joints. I want to set the keyframe to just the selected controller. Is there a solution?
I was wondering. When you animate extremes or set any key frames, do you not set a key for every bone? When I would make an extreme and the whole pose looked just the way I want it i would mark all of it.

I've been trying to animate a sequence, and I need to find a way to lock my characters foot on the ground or keep it in place somehow so I can move the body and the foot will stay in place. Does anyone know a way of doing this? When I search freezing or locking and object in place I get results on how to make it un selectable but I just simple want it to stay in place.
Can you parent an arm to a hip or waist control? I'm animating a lady with her hand on her hip so I'm trying to figure out the best way to do that. The arm now is all wobbly from trying to keep it in one place.

Dude! I understand that any right over exaggeration gives a character more life.. but maybe u sud study for throwing anything, from punches to a bass.. the force gets generated but two shoulders .. The one we throw stays behind and the other one facing front .. that shoulder connected down to the hip .. works like a spiring to generate the force.. this is where things go really wrong when we exaggerate things n making it more stiff. Hope u got this comment be4 already out here., I'm from fine art background., cudnot help my self letting u know this.. and wanna learn animation .. looking for a right place., I'm from Bangladesh.. trust me we so much of great children classics .. in our literature.. the process needs to start soon , before we lose them away in PDF files.. thanks for tutorial .

21:27 here you had to press S after selecting locator to see blend option appear in channelbox. It would fix your ball position problem at next frame.

If you have more Frames then 25 or 24 will it be smoother if you have more frames then.. will it be smoother for the animation you do or what?
Kongmaster98 Yes, the more frames you have the smoother the animation. Film is 24 fps, TV in the US is 30 fps and video games are 60 fps.
