I saw these guys live in Huntington, WV and they promised us a shout out because we were the best crowd they had on their tour. I still find it so cool that they did this for us. Stand up guys. Sound perfect live.

For anyone skeptical that TFB have changed, you HAVE to see them perform the songs from Back on Top live. While this album is less raw than their previous ones, it regains a lot of the emotionality when you see them in person. The way Brian sang the "Hell bent on self destruction" part in this song was so intense it gave me CHILLS. Go see them whenever you can, I promise you won't be disappointed.
This song hits different when he says “this ones for all my friends in Houston” haha love seeing them live I was the only one moving during this song sadly though. Most people were there for basement

The electric guitar gives this song the real kick ass punchy sound it really needs, as apposed to the acoustic they generally use, which is more laid back.

I saw tfb for the second time in February. Met some great people. One in particular, Ashton. He was such a kind soul, he even let me in front of him for several songs so that I could be at the barrier. We got high and sang in the rain at the top of our voices waiting for the band to come out to their tour bus. We met the band together and then danced in a bar after (and then we freaked out because tfb were later in the same bar). Despite the fact that it was the night I met one of my favorite bands, Ashton was the best part of this memory. He passed away a couple of weeks ago and even though I only met him once I can't stop breaking down into tears. I really missed out on having a close friendship with someone I really wanted to know. RIP Ashton, I'm so sad we can't meet up for more gigs like we said we would in the future. I met you once and I miss you. So many people have had the most beautiful things I have ever heard in my life said about you.

Man, Say Anything and TFB are both two of my all time favorite bands. I feel you on that. I was fucking stoked when I saw them both in VA. Brian came out to sing Hebrews with Max and they hugged and I got a photo and it made my fucking night!

It’s only four years old and I feel nostalgic. I met my wife a few months after this song came out and I think this really helped me get into the right mindset for what I was dealing with at the time. Love these dudes.
I discovered this song a week ago and I've listened to it about 100 times, no shit.
Seeing this song live was like therapy. Hearing the emotion Brian puts into his live performances in just...crazy

This clip makes me remember a big house party my friends and I had back in 1998 at one of my best friend house. His parents were out of the town for two weeks and as I can remember, we litterally destroyed the interior of the whole freaking house no jokes. We were probably around 40 people at the peak of the night and we started a beer bottle caps war in the basement.
What a mess we made but we were able to clean the whole thing before his parents came back, just like in the movies.

This song is still one of my favorites, the first time i listened to it I had just gotten out of a failing relationship with whom to this day I am convinced is the love of my life, and I just broke down crying but in a happy way since it made me realize that everything is momentary and life goes on. TFB has helped my mental health in many ways lol.
