"Focus on flying your wind". Very good point. That’s all end in end.

Quick question. As a complete novice with no idea about this sport. When would be the best time of year to learn how to fly? Or how early in the year would you recommend someone to book a lesson? 😊

Paragliding can be practiced throughout the whole year; however, the feasibility varies based on your location, prevailing conditions (the most calm months or the worst rainy months for example) and of course the offerings of paragliding schools in your area. But in general, lessons can be booked year-round in most areas 🦅 The best advice would be to get in touch with the paragliding clubs and schools in your area. 💯

I have the BGD Epic 1. How do you find the BGD Epic FS compared to the first. Seems like a good all-rounder PG to me if I only had to own one wing :) Have you done a review on it?

Compared to the original BGD EPIC, the new EPIC FREESTYLE has stronger lines (same diameter) and attachment points, to allow for Acro, but remains within the original certification, EN and LTF B (low-mid B). Otherwise the two models are the same, other than the different colour schemes, and so they launch and fly very much the same, if not identical. This is also what I found in my testing. 🤓

ps. If you're looking for a very nice and high versatile low-mid B wing for soaring, thermalling and beginner-intermediate Acro, and don't mind not having the latest tech, then I highly recommend the EPIC FREESTYLE is a really great option: flybubble.com/bgd-epic-freestyle

pps. Also from our testing, the PHI BEAT is another fantastic and exceptionally versatile option for soaring, thermalling, XC and beginner-intermediate Acro, if don't mind not having the latest tech; see our film Paragliding - ART OF COLLAPSES: th-cam.com/video/q2GnWX-pF2g/w-d-xo.html

@@flybubblecarlo Thanks for the detailed response! :) You got me thinking... as much as I love my Epic I would definitely like to try a PHI glider sounds like a good all rounder. 👍
