Woody keeps running this team into the ground with his stupid decisions. Douglas either should have been fired when Saleh was or he should have been allowed to finish the season, even though he would have been doing nothing the entire time. Not that anyone would have been able to notice the difference. Grigson had some good Colts teams, but they were absolutely due to Luck's heroics more than Grigson's efforts. He's bounced around since he encouraged Luck to retire early, and maybe it has helped him develop his skills further. I'm forced to remember that the Browns were horrible four out of the five years with Bill Belichick as head coach, and then he ended up doing a better job with the Patriots (though there are those who point out that he apparently bent if not broke a lot of rules there so his legacy is suspect for those with that viewpoint). Grigson would be an inexpensive reclaimation project as a GM, which would apparently appeal to Woody. Grigson has been working with some better managed teams in the meantime so there's a hope that he's learned some lessons and gained some knowledge. I actually don't think Grigson would be a horrible choice for the Jets and he might be okay and potentially get better. But there are worse options out there, and I'm pretty sure the Johnsons will choose one of those. Kevin Costner's available, and look what he did for the Browns in Draft Day. 😛 I know, I know, I shouldn't say such things. Might give Woody ideas.
John Dorsey is the way to go. Ian, as you the other day, if Dorsey were to take over, Woody and Chris need to leave him alone and let him do his job.
