Hi roffle ! I made a month ago a totem deck that looks like this one but it runs the gadgetzan auctioneer and even more cheap spells to run the deck faster, it acts more or less like a miracle rogue at some point ! I'll share the list
You can run one if you'd like. In most of my games it felt like it wouldn't have made a difference since I was either ahead with a full board or behind with no totems to copy.
Most of the Early game AoE in the meta is all around 2-3 damage (The Mage's secret bastard and the Flame Ward, Warlock's Hellfire, Priest's Excavated Evil); when people see a swarmed board of 4 Health totems, they lose their shits.
Hey Roffle, love your youtube vids. I made a pretty decent Dreadsteed Plot Twist Warlock deck that currently performs decent at rank 4. Hmu if you want a decklist or something, it's quite fun and unique imo.

splitting axe would've been amazing in this deck, summons copies of ur totems and is 4 cost

Witchdoctor usually filled the board so there was rarely space to get value off of Splitting Axe.

She was good but not great. You can squeeze in any other even-costed minion/spell of your liking. Preferably 6 mana or lower.

Splitting Axe seemed a bit slow and my board was often full. I couldn't find room for fit it in this list.

This deck is equally gross without genn because you also get spirit of the frog.
