Remote Not Working on Roku Premiere or Premiere+? Easy Fix!

- If your Roku Premiere or Premiere+ media player remote is not working, ghosting, unresponsive, works intermittently, one button or several buttons not working, delayed or slow response then try these couple easy possible fixes. I have no picture or anything on the screen. When I hit power button on remote the screen flashed 1 sec red screen home page then goes black. I get sound, only, when I press OK! I called them all I got was same old, over and over again in one whole hour!! Still holding for 3rd time.....and hard to understand employee......HELP!

Didn't work fixing the back button not being responsive and now because I smacked my roku remote, nothing is working. Whereas before everything but the back button was working.

Here is an easier fix. On the remote: 1.Open the battery cover. 2. remove one battery 3. re-insert battery 4.replace cover The remote will work until the next time it stops working. (there will be a next time, and a time after that and a time after that) Now the real fix should happen at Roku. All of their remotes have this exact issue. Their circuit board design overloads and freezes the remote causing it to not respond with out a hard reset (battery removal). I hope this helps.
Yeah just bought the 4k+ two weeks ago and this is EXACTLY what happens. The remote stays working after reinserting battery as long as I keep pushing buttons, but if I stop pushing a button for like 3 second it quits working until I remove and reinstall battery again. Waste of 40 bucks!
