I started this years ago... I sell as much as possible on Offerup. I keep the basic essentials and pack everything into one truck. Go to IKEA/Amazon search for the FRAKTA bag. These bags are so good for moving and storage One Truck-one trip.

How many square feet do you live in? I’m considering a job move. I pay 1850 for 1000sqft. A &3,000 couch . I would simply give away the expensive table and long expensive dresser drawers. I suspect I’d put a bed, couch, clothes and my pet. Hire movers is smart for sure. I’d pay 100-200$ per hour. Again an apartment to a Charlotte apartment.
What areas are best for a good school district? I visited a couple weeks ago to look around. Found areas I really like, but when researching schools they were not good. Any suggestions? My child is in middle school. Thanks!

I would suggest to be careful if getting free boxes-- this is a good way to bring cockroaches and other insects into your new home. This has happened to me just bringing in a box from my garage
What do you mean by easy? Most landlords are wanting certain requirements of applicants. Most want 1st and last month rent as well as a credit score of at least 640. Yes, there are landlords with lower requirements, but the ones I mentioned are common in the area.
May I know why are you targeting Charlotte NC? Every city has its own pros and cons.. just to make business ? I am from Minneapolis, I don’t have anything bad about it.. accept places as it is

I'm sure if you searched youtube for "pros and cons of Minneapolis" you would get tons of videos on the topic. TH-cam is a search engine and creators make content to provide information (and entertainment) for people looking for answers.
There are cheaper and more cost efficient options but the waiting list is extremely long. $1000/month is expensive but when compared to major cities, its actually on the low side. Out west daycare can get as high as $2500/month, and in the DC area, its not uncommon to see daycare costing $2000+/month.

I have furniture row in my city, they are pricey but of good quality. I bought some furniture there 4 yrs ago, they’re still beautiful.

I always got my moving boxes on truck day of my old job... I worked at a restaurant.... When I move again, they will be my first place for boxes.
