@@dynhoyw They're definitely overtuned, but tanks do need some damage to be relevant in fights or they will just be ignored. They do have too much atm tho.

im also having so much fun playing it. im so sad the nerfs are coming, potentially ruining briar mid completely. i have been playing Kled mid in the meantime to test its viability as a faux briar mid. working ok so far.

Scion is definitely a champ huh. Enemy definitely failed both draft and to itemize like Pekin said, but that's just wild how the enemy had 0 pressure all game. It wasn't even close. And that fight at baron was frankly pure joy. You could see the enemy team just realize how hopeless it was trying to focus him and trying to split off but ultimately it didn't matter. Was too late. Pekin just stood there and made everything a complete cluster fuck.
PS: And just having high dmg while building full tank. This season is definitely a season. I kinda love the chaos.

Their goal was to just push mid wave with unending dispair, you just e the wave , w and fully charge q to disintegrate the whole wave all the whil the enemy mage is pokikg you for negative damage, since you oneshot waves with 1 item theyre not even really present mid, they judt perma shove and roam
i always play sion mid and get early doran's ring...max out e, it melts most mages early
Hey Pekin it’s cool that you’re showing off this item “Unending Despair” for your viewers but I’ve been rocking it for over two decades and think you aren’t utilizing it to its fullest. Hopefully that can be addressed in a future video.
I just lost an impossible game because me with 5 items (literally all of the items that appear on the magic pen section) could not deal more than 5% of Rumble's HP with a Zoe bubble and a max range Q. I swear. He was the tankiest I have ever seen anyone be. And the funny part is that even when I had only 2 items and he had only one MR item he was already not taking any damage whatsoever and started being a menace in teamfights, making his team (who was losing HARD e v e r y lane) just win every teamfight without a single opportunity for us to win! That was a frustrating one. So much that I came here just to vent.

@@JikooFD nope. when he had only 1 mr item it was abysall mask, armor boots and sunfire, and already taking no damage from any of the APs and ADs of my team. while he had this, I had ludens companion, shadow flame, pen boots and stormsurge. My max range Q would deal 10% of his hp but he has a big shield every 4 seconds so it deals even less, but he would proceed to one shot every one. They had 1 dragon and we had 2. We had 5k gold lead on them. He was 4/4/3, I was 7/4/14 and could not hit anyone else because he would stand in the front and tank
And I just realized he actually did not get any other MR items. After that he built Liandry's, Jak'Sho and Frozen Heart. And I built Void after the flat pen items I already had. Still no damage on him, even less now. And he could one shot if you touched him, so he was free to position how he wanted while we should take too much care and die little by little without being able to reach anyone with him frontlining

New Sterak's with it's shift into giving passive tenacity could be absolutely amazing for tanky Sion.

Small detail about ingenious hunter and heartsteel. It does not affect the cooldown because the heartsteel cd isnt actually an internal cooldown on the item but rather a debuff thats put on the opponent same as sundered skies.
Just to let you know, ingenious hunter does indeed affect the cooldown of both Heartsteel and Sundered Sky, you can test it too in the practise tool. Stack your runes, and then watch the ingame clock when you proc Heartsteel and see when it comes back. Same with SS, you can buy Eclipse too and then proc both SS and Eclipse on the same auto. The SS mark comes back up the same moment Eclipse comes off cooldown 👍
Interestingly, the max HP you gain by proccing SS with excess healing actually lasts for the duration of the debuff on the enemy. So although the tooltip says "granted as temporary bonus Health for 6 seconds", it'll last less than that with ingenious.

YES so glad you and others are picking up on ingenious hunter, so god dang powerful with all the items with CDs. Sundered Sky and Eclipse is a nice combo.
In addition, did you know the magic damage siphon of Unending Despair counts as ability damage and so procs things like comet and Liandry's?
If you start doing off meta stuff again it would be fun to see AP Aphelios. It probably sounds troll and IDK if it’s good, might be something for like plat-diamond instead of GM-Chal, but most of his Qs and his ult have AP ratios in the 70-100% range (and the one Q that doesn’t gets a move speed boost scaling with AP) so you’ve always got abilities to pop off that scale decently with AP. But on the downside you only have 2 abilities at a time (but could do a burst of 4 abilities if you set your guns up right before a fight) and I think most of them do physical damage so magic pen won’t help and you can’t build armor pen either.

I’ve been going ingenious hunter and cosmic insight on as many champs as I can because stacking item haste feels soo good considering nearly every item has it at this point in time

I dont get why fizz didnt take turret aggro on that first dive when he killed with hes e land at 3:16. He clearly did damage to you since it killed you, was after his invulnerability, and was in turret range?

Are you still able to build sunfire or the magic sunfire with that new tank item? It seems like it would be good. If Nunu is the only one doing damage then the magic sunfire would have been good especially with the waveclear.

my current buildpath on sion is heartsteel, hollow raidiance/sunfire, jaksho, armour mr item sundered sky because sky scales with base ad and heals missing health, havent tried unending despair yet
Its so crazy how good enchanter + space eating tank are for carries, I bet even if both top and bot lost lane you still win this game (provided you still get soul).

Time for Zac mid! Hotfix buffs make him able to spam engage so hard. Idk what you'd want to build... sunfire into despair, iceborn sunfire (Iceborn is kinda broken I found with a slow every 1.5 seconds), abyssal liandry's... lots of options.
Full ap stormsurge is the way.

I don't think people should have abilities that reset turret aggro like Fizz e, Yi q, Elise spider e. It's such a dumb safeguard that let's the characters play way dumber than they should be allowed to get away with

Side note for some reason i was climbing last season and was emerald 2 and it put me into plat 3 after my first game for this season. And that just has been terrible. Climbed back to plat 1 but have been having so many scuffed games i have falled back down.
