What is ROBLOX? ROBLOX is an online virtual playground and workshop, where kids of all ages can safely interact, create, have fun, and learn. It’s unique in that practically everything on ROBLOX is designed and constructed by members of the community. ROBLOX is designed for 8 to 18 year olds, but it is open to people of all ages. Each player starts by choosing an avatar and giving it an identity. They can then explore ROBLOX - interacting with others by chatting, playing games, or collaborating on creative projects. Each player is also given their own piece of undeveloped real estate along with a virtual toolbox with which to design and build anything - be it a navigable skyscraper, a working helicopter, a giant pinball machine, a multiplayer “Capture the Flag” game or some other, yettobedreamed-up creation. There is no cost for this first plot of virtual land. By participating and by building cool stuff, ROBLOX members can earn specialty badges as well as ROBLOX dollars (“ROBUX”). In turn, they can shop the online catalog to purchase avatar clothing and accessories as well as premium building materials, interactive components, and working mechanisms.

I had to replay level 17 four times to finally beat it. The key puzzle was such a pain, the monster would spawn right behind me everytime.
on that lvl me and my friend didnt see it until we were about to escape lolll
It's crazy how people can beat the games in seconds after it's realesed
The abilities of the Roblox software nowadays is so advanced. Especially for horror. These devs are really putting the work into they’re games.

@@frostyyy3762 well, compared to the old roblox games. This is really good. But there’s tons of other games way better than this one.
a guide for all entities:
level 17 entity: if you have sixth sense, then it will be very useful. you can tell where the entity is from afar, and you can get to a hiding spot on time. speaking of which: you can use the little side rooms as hiding spots.
level 18 entity (mannequin): I'm pretty sure there's 5 of them. 2 of them are in a useless spot near a room with a red light. all of them are on the higher floors. they move pretty slow, but make sure to look at them. (note, sixth sense works on them). if you get far enough, it will stop chasing you.
level 18 entity (hound) don't you already know this? it's blind. anyway, it usually guards around the simon says puzzle near the exit gate, right below the center hole in the mall.
Level 21 entity: it's a little hard to see, so consider using sixth sense if you have it. basically it's kinda dumb, so just out run it.
Titan smiler: it's the vent dude.
Elevator entity: basically detects movement. do not move until it's gone
so the guide simplified is basically waste money on sixth sense or the game will be basically unbeatable

Chapter 2 is nothing like the prequel. They did a great job with the ambience and the designing is fantastic, however it is not near as eerie or daunting in the slightest; as opposed to its previous counterpart. The whole idea of liminal spacing in the backrooms is to make the person feel trapped and anxious, and when paired with a creepy entity (that actually has a good AI). It is the icing on the cake. The unsettling and ominous atmosphere is what makes these games good and it seems as though the creators just wanted to have fun building structures and entertaining 10 year olds rather than focus on the actual core features of what makes a scary game… scary. Take the FunRooms LVL13 for example, absolutely perfect and ticks all boxes of what a proper horror game/level should be. The main adjective being ‘suspense’. The new chapter doesn’t seem to have it so far. 🤔 these are just my thoughts, don’t take it too seriously.

Funrooms isn't a prime example here.
Been in the backrooms community since 2020, and the funrooms is quite frowned upon. This version is better for sure.
But I do agree, chapter 1 is ten times better than chapter 2. I feel though in general the concept of the backrooms as a game is extremely flawed to turn into gameplay.
@@Halfway-Stupid I’m not talking about what the community thinks of the funrooms or it’s lore, I’m talking about the quality of the gameplay. Of which makes it suspenseful, it’s not a prime example but it is a good one.
And I have to agree with you, the backrooms isn’t always about complete darkness and jump scares, it’s about sublimity and the uncanny walls u reside in. It’s the atmosphere that makes it the backrooms! But when u compare the first chapter to the second. You wonder why they decided to change the motion of the game… When u settled for the game when it was scary, why would u now want serenity?
It meant we set high expectations, considering the reputation the game made for itself to now just be a game made for admiration. Which isn’t undeserved.

@zak1699 Agreed. The scary part has been removed and now you have a friendly entity helping you, which is just goofy as hell.
Also, I wouldn't say we set our expectations too high, but they thought we did, and decided to improve in the wrong areas...
I love apeirophobia but in chapter 2 it feels like it lost its backroom vibes idk maybe I'm just not used to it
could be because of the black dude talking makes you feel not alone anymore
I feel the same, second reason probably because these levels arent even based on any backrooms level anymore

@@Ajim_Jj05yeah it’s annoying, I liked the sense of dread from level 10, where it uses your fear of the unknown and ominous tone to establish a build up, before the footsteps turning into something you know isn’t friendly.
Yeah these levels are not as good as the first 10
This game really deserves some attention all over tne roblox. This update is prob the biggest rn. The amount of details, really well-made animations are astonishing. I really wonder what will happen next tho!

Heres tips for the hound and mannequins for level 18
For the hound, if you dont like wasting time while crouching, you can bhop or spam jump. The hound doesnt detect even a single movement while your crouch bhopping
For mannequins, well its self explanatory

The facts that i played with my friend at level 17, 23, are full of bugs 17 = Sometimes entity killed me for no reason even from the celling. (They aren't there). 23 = Right Way at vent the entity doesn't spawn.

Th problem with the entity showing up without invisible walls for a second really making me getting jumpscared by him every time he appears
On Lvl 23 where you go to the vent, there was a glitch also bc if you stand up, this would most likely go through the vent much quicker

Bro I stated level 17, but it glitched and put me directly into level 23, unlocking basically all the levels
I didn't got any cutscene but I got a glitch that allows you to know what level comes after the train track It was awesome

due to roblox limitations and certain aspects of how it works, its really wonky and kinda complicated in fact

take a puzzle of 2 vase makers,
Mike makes their first vase and when it fails or kind of incorrect, they try and try again, their product is finished
Jason makes their vase first try, not even retrying and just finished it like that
In my perspective YOU would trust Jason, But Mike Tried his best, so you really need to calm down and see whats going on, like can you really do impressions first try? NO, You need to try and try again, mostly nothing will be perfect, all your effort into that just to get judged? its been like around a year until chapter 2 released, you need to get a better persepective on the devs, if you were hardworking and someone judges you like that, do you think thats OKAY?

You aren't supposed to grab it. You grab a key from the box in the brgining and use that key at the paper, and you have to file that key down to have the same notches as the one in the picture. If you die, you have to grab the key from the beginning again.
