  • Carmona is a town of southwestern Spain, in the province of Seville; it lies 33 km north-east of Sevilla city. It has a Mediterranean climate with a sunny spring and typically some rain in that season.
Carmona has been inhabited for more than 5000 years. It was possibly one of the most fortified cities in the kingdom of Tartessos. After the Muslim invasion in the 8th century, it became the capital of one of the Taifa kingdoms.
The city is known for its thriving trade in wine, olive oil, grain and cattle, and holds an annual fair in April.

La puerta de cordoba and hotel de la reina is also important land marks of the city.
But this is one of the better videos I have seen of the old town of Carmona.

Thanks. We actually filmed the Puerta de Córdoba, we're planning to put it in the Driving tour episode. But we didn't film the hotel, usually filming a privately owned structure is really difficult, extra permission is needed.

@@BABeenHere They really enjoy the free promo so I am sure they will let you if you mention them, same with the alcazar.
The town is currently promoting tourism everywhere so they would probably appreciate it.
Drop me a message if you need help to ask around as I have been living here for some years now.
They might even feature you in the tourist program.
