NICELY PRESENTED GREG. LOVE THE WAY YOU PRESENT IN SIMPLE TO UNDERSTAND WAY. MORE VIDEOS OF ON SITE REAL SETTING OUT AND REMOTE CONTROL OPERATIONS OF TS16
Happy you like it! Unfortunately I am not working now with TS16, but when I put my hands on it, I'll do some vids to complete these tutorials :) There are couple of good vids from site if you have time though ):
Hi Greg, I would appreciate your opinion on this: - A trainee engineer position for a groundwork and RC frame contractor. Project not very big. Self employed. - A junior engineer position for a surveying company (specialises in as‑built surveys, setting out, control stations, monitoring and 3D laser scanning). Employed position. Which one do you think is a best to start?🙏
Definitely the first option. Just make sure for how long are both options, as harder times coming and it's good to have something for longer time. Definitely you will be more busy and learn more&quicker with frame contractor - this will also open more doors for you once you get some experience
@@SITENG thanks for your reply. 🙏 Don't know if you practice such things, but I would be very grateful if we can have a chat about it today or tomorrow when you have free time, as I have to make a decision on it on Monday. I am more than happy to pay you for your time. I worked 4 days for option 1 and 1 day for option 2 this week, but still I feel like I need to discuss it with someone not related to these companies. So if you have time and willing to have a chat I would appreciate it a lot ☺️🙏
@@Civil3dpro04 I don't really have it, made a mistake and delete it, but have it installed and still can use it. I will try to get it somehow and then will make it available for everyone
when i import dwg files to ts16 it vanishes. to find it i always have to manually feed a coordinate in that drawwing to get that point in the drawing and zoom in to find the drawing. is there any easy way
there is a better way, I'll record a short vid this week. Also, why your drawing is so big and maybe there some other points which make it impossible to zoom - might be worth to copy on the new drawing only what you need and then save it as dxf and bring it to TS
Better just use reflectorless if you can. If you're using a pole you have to set target height (on the instrument) same as your pole height - it's marked on the pole. I recommend to shoot reflectorless at some point and then set your pole + target height and check the same point - you will see what you have (shouldn't be a big difference if you keep the pole straight)

Thank you

Happy you like them, and great I could help!
very informative greg!
Thanks Chris 👍👍👍
NIce, sir which software you are using here on PC??
It's a Leica simulator, you need to look for it on line as it's not available from where I got it
@@SITENG can you provide me setup to install that.

Hi buddy one thing I struggle with is how do you give levels with the prism pole?
Better just use reflectorless if you can. If you're using a pole you have to set target height (on the instrument) same as your pole height - it's marked on the pole. @SITENG alright great thanks. Also how do i hold the pole by the pin? Should hold it at the top of pin then tape down or hold it by the side?
@@khalidhashemi1181 If you have original pole there have to be dimensions on the pole
@SITENG no I understand the dimension bit. Its just hard putting levels with pole how do you usually do it?
Legend ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
