It is peaceful to know that Jesus knows exactly how it feels to be rejected, ridiculed, persecuted, and whatnot. Because He knows, therefore He becomes our strength to continue on moving forward and give love to those who persecute us just like how our Lord Jesus Christ did.

@@michaelormond8511 Thank you, to be truthful, I am so scared of dying and so desperately want there to be an afterlife, I'm still very afraid, but these talks on the second coming do help a bit, I am on 15, so I have no knowledge on the matter, but hearing people say that Jesus is coming back does give me peace, that I may see him and definitively know that he is real, but all the different religions, science and atheists do make me not believe, as well as the fact that a higher up being real does sound far fetched, but yeah, that's my stance on things.

I am a Muslim, and Christ is one of my prophets. What I don't understand is why Christians often view Islam negatively. Did Christ teach you to view Islam in a bad light?
Islam teaches a few things:
1: your prophet married a little girl. And in Islam, children gettin married is still ok
2: husbands are allowed to slap their wife for correcting
3: over 100 verses of violence called for against non Muslims
4: it’s all based off works, you have to earn your salvation

1. Your bible is not against marrying young girls either. I love when I see this card played every time it just shows how uneducated and dumb you are. The entire planet 100+ years ago used to marry 9-10 year olds, yet you only found Muhammed to be the issue. Do you realize that Virgin Mary was about 12 when she gave birth to Jesus? .Ofc you don't. It was common for women that age to get married over a thousand years ago..

If the law allows it then yea, as a man you have to protect your family, and if your wife starts to wave her tail for others or do stuff that ruin the family, you are not allowed to hit her but last, you hit her as last resort, and not slap on the face, you shouldn't hit her face because it ruins her image. This rule was set for a community that lived 1450 years ago. Nowadays laws don't allow this and Muslims should follow the country laws in addition to religion laws.
3.Versus that call for violence have context, unlike the bible, the Quran doesn't have the context written into it. Hadiths describe the context. People often read from the Quran and think that they figured out the true meaning. They read something like "Kill the non believers" with 0 context. They think Islam is about violence, when you read the hadith and understand that the people addressed in the Quran as "the non believers" were specific people that lived 1450 years ago that were planning an attack against Muslims. You realize you got things wrong.
4. Yes you do, and Jesus also said that, people who asked Jesus, how do I get to heaven. Jesus said worship and follow the commandants. By then all Muslims become Christians cause we all believe in Jesus and follow the commandants. Later on when the religion got handed to Paul he changed the narrative. To get to heaven, you have to recognize Jesus died for some original sin, and Jesus resurrected and confirm all their crappy claims. Then after 300 years people came up with a trinity, people nowadays buy into it. Cause most Christians never read their bible, not once. Just sheep following a leader.
God in Islam is the one and only God. Allah literally means THE ONE GOD in Arabic. Monotheism was Moses' top teachings. We aren't comparing Gods here, there is only 1 and he is the same 1. We are comparing Christian teachings to Muslim teachings.

From a non bias agnostic perspective: It's possibly because of the popularization of the verses within the bible that condone horrible things such as slavery and blatant homophobia. Association with christnaity has become negative and controversial because of horrible verses that condone horrible acts of inhumane treatment.

But Christians are not called to follow the laws of the Old Testament. Being gay is a sin, yes, but Jesus did not call for homophobia - for example.
Christians are bound by the new covenant (New Testament), not the Old.

Plain untrue. Matthew 5: 17 Jesus says
“Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them."
Jesus did not deny the Old Testament, but when He came things, of course, changed. He Himself says right there that He is not coming to abolish the old law but to fulfill it all the way to bring the new covenant (new law)
Jesus honored His Father (God), and His Fathers word.

Allah says in the quran that killing one person is as if you've killed the hole humanity and saveing one life is as if you have saved the hole humanity.
