- The enemy against all believers has set snares or traps. Do you know what they are? Have you seen them working in your life or in your family? If you don't know what they are then our ignorance will keep us defeated spiritually instead of being victorious in Christ. Jesus recognized when the enemy was attacking him, and we need that same recognition.

seems my mom has inherit all of those control issues. as a young adult i inherit a lot of them as well. espeially the first of perfection; wanting to control others to become perfect so i would not get hurt again. this has changed. now i have laid my whole life down to serve others. and it's a real joy. Jesus is on the Throne (and on my throne) - and i just trust Him and have faith in Him. it gives peace to the home and to every relationship along the way. God bless all of you!

Ive watched maybe 30 of Dr Lutzers talks so far and this was was exceptionally humerous. Not to be insensitive about the opening because it was a lovely example of how a man of god can endure tragedy. Im thankful to have these videos to watch because not only is he a good speaker but he has great stories with the lessons. Control was another great message or warning.

Want to know the actual state of the world? Check how many views/likes this video has versus Katy Perry or Lady Gaga. People do not want to know the Truth. And they will pay dearly for that neglect.

This is the World and has been in this state since the fall of man.
God said, the ways of man are continually evil all the day.
But Jesus said; They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world.Sanctify them by Your truth.Your word is truth. As You sent Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world. And for their sakes I sanctify Myself, that they also may be sanctified by the truth.
John said; Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world-the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life-is not of the Father but is of the world.
Finally; Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.
So the view shouldn't surprise any of us.
This passage comes to mind when tragedy happens in our Christian lives.
2 Cor 4
But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.
8 We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;
9 Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;
10 Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.
11 For we which live are always delivered unto death for Jesus' sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh.
12 SO THEN DEATH WORKS IN US, BUT LIFE IN YOU. (Think about that in your next trial) = Testimony
13 We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;
14 Knowing that he which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus, and shall present us with you.
