I remember sitting at the lookout near Kealakekua Bay, writing this song into existence. It started as a freestyle sunset song. Just me and the ocean and the sun. I carried those lyrics as a prayer for so many years. It became my salutation song, a reverent nod to the symbiosis between sun and human body. It's been a joy to bring the song back after so many years, breathing new life into it."

Nahko I have a really important mission on this earth when it comes to addiction and espc woman pregnant during addiction and or father , also ujails tearing parents away due to things that everyone stole from the tree ect . I have spirit wise a masters in chemistry and the body due to my experience. A lot of your gifts you have is absolutely a huge part of the healing for people who feel they need something to feel okay. I feel like you know a lot of good spirit warriors . The govt may be able to give back to the people and write a grant to open a facility rehab . I want it to be more natural then your Regular hospital . I pray we can link together and make this movement major , we all have a family member or ourselves in some addiction . I can’t wait to see your soul it’s a favorite of mine

I so much loved Nahko until I heard about abuse with young women. It blew me away. His music is so pure and clean, like a shaman, drawing people to the flame, I'm sure it's a magnet to young women but abuse is abuse and it's very sad. Mankind has the power to make a choice and what you have done pollutes your message.

I remember seeing you in concert at the Trees in Dallas. My Son who was turning 16 had introduced us to your music and it was an instant love, my free spirited Son embraced that concert and connected with his own soul. Now that same Son is a Solider in the US Army and he feels he can't find his spirit and he doesn't know who he is anymore, he torn between full filling his contract and leaving for the sake of his soul. I ask that you say a prayer for him and for me his Mother who's watching his light dim.
