Johnny was a talent! Family watched the Rifleman each week growing up! Loved his music, his teen songs and big band later. He always seemed to be a gentleman and good human being! Rip.
CORRECTION NEEDED - JOHNNY CRAWFORD DID NOT SERVE ACTIVELY IN THE VIETNAM WAR AND MOST CERTAINLY NOT FOR TWO STRAIGHT YEARS WHICH VERY FEW DID AS IT WAS NORMALLY ONLY A 12 MONTH TOUR - HE ENLISTED IN 1965 AND SERVED THROUGH 1967 WORKING ON TRAINING FILMS AS A PRODUCTION COORDINATOR, ASSISTANT DIRECTOR, SCRIPT SUPERVISOR AND DID SOME OCCASIONAL ACTING. HE WAS A SERGEANT AT THE TIME HE RECEIVED AN HONORABLE DISCHARGE IN DECEMBER 1967. TOO MANY OF THESE TH-cam STORIES ARE NOTHING BUT TOTAL CLICKBATE ( LIKE IMAGES OF HIM LOOKING ILL AND IN A WHEELCHAIR ) AND ARE FULL OF ERRORS AND UNTRUTHS - ALWAYS BEWARE BEFORE TAKING THESE THINGS AS STRAIGHT FACTS !!!!!
Looking at these assorted Crawford clips, you can't help but notice how he kept his good looks all through the years. He was a handsome guy!!
Excellent actor. After Rifle Man he seemed to disappear . We were looking for him on TV & movies . Thanks Google
I think he did a lot of theater. Then some singing, of course. Wasn't he in the movie El Dorado?
Johnny Crawford was extraordinary on "Rifle Man!"❤🕊
He seemed like such a sweet guy.

Very cool guy wow❤❤❤❤
I was so in love with Johnny beginning with the Rifleman. He was my age ,but died to young.
75 is young, but still a good long life.
He's a talented young man ..I loved The Rifleman....so did my mom...she was in love! 💗
Two things surprise me here: one is that Johnny C. was acting as far back as "The Lone Ranger," *and* the other that "TLR" was in color!
He had a gift.
RIP Johnny.
When did he die?
@@kellyjplat8052 2021.. died from Alziemer/ Dementia.
