    Whats all on ur parts list of the build, pistons,conrods ,crank ,cams etc

      Crank = M54B30
      Rods - M52B28
      Pistons - M52B25 modified
      modified head
      267 cams
      M50 manifold
      440cc injectors
      R8 coils
      250HP on the wheels at the coast

      @@ssbb_builds2090 lovely stuff, I guess with this recipe u went it makes a higher compression than the full m54b30 rotating assembly

    I don't understand the dilemma about the piston rings. M52b28tu, m54b30 and probably most later models use cast iron sleeves and same bore. Why can't we use rings/pistons from more modern, readily available models?

      Not all of the models had cast iron sleeves. Mine was an aluminum block with alusil coating on the cylinders.
      Stock they come with Cast Iron Rings. But I resleeved the block due to high wear, I could get the pistons but with the cast iron sleeves you need a chrome piston ring which I battled to get.

      @@ssbb_builds2090 yes m52b28 had nikasil cylinders. M52B28TU and m54b30 had cast iron sleeves. All had the same 84mm bore. M54 rings are readily available.
