I always love to hear Shadow vocalize! It seems like vocals are a little more difficult for him. Not sure why. He was very quiet the first year we saw him, but seems to have improved. It is so sweet when he and Jackie “sing” to each other at night 😊
I think the hormones are raging! I'm not sure how much they accomplished in getting sticks arranged but they sure provided some entertainment for those of us watching them. At least they didn't hurt each other. I was surprised by Shadow's seemingly angry vocals. Thanks for sharing this domestic dispute with us, Cali.
I didn't know they bopped each other on the head so much! Is that normal? I guess one could leave if they didn't seem happy. I don't know how that works in the eagle world.

Because I watch this type of videos often, I've become to feel like and wonder if I should collect sticks whenever I find them just like those on this video. There are plenty of wood sticks along the street. I have collected some sticks for a rhino beetle, etc. before though. Just saying.
Reminds me of the arguments I used to have with my ex-husband whilst trying to assemble furniture from IKEA. “Is that slot A into slot B or slot C?” 😂😂🤣
