Paradise was my next best thing after MW05. I surely know it didn't compare much as a racing game, but it was so much well crafted box of endless fun. It's a game that channels the 12 years old in you. And that's why I loved it so much.
The community in this game was something else though, I don't think I've ever experienced another community as fantastic as BP's was.
I participated in two 24 Hours in Paradise gaming marathons that were organized on the Burnout forums and had so much damn fun. There hasn't been game since this game that I could pour endless hours just fucking around online have always have fun.
The handling physics were perfect IMO, and it introduced EasyDrive in its best form, and Big Surf Island was such an amazing add on to the game towards the end of the game's lifespan. Burnout Paradise is the epitome of what an open world arcade racer should be if you ask me....
I miss Burnout, I wish EA wouldn't have moved Criterion over to the NFS series and let them continue to make Burnout games.

Burnout Paradise was the first game I played on PS3. It's where I met all my friends, and now I have such a strong connection to the game, that I still have my PS3 for Paradise.

God I love this game so much, the rush you get when doing road rage is unbelievable. I still remember playing for hours and eventually got a score of 102 takedowns.
PLAY MORE THROWBACK GAMES IN GENERAL. midnight club/burnout/old Need for speeds etc. that would be amazing! This is one of my new favorite videos by you!

OH...YEAHHH...YUSSS this brings me memories of playing burnout on the psp...when I was 4-5yrs old...
My favorite car was the Watson 25 V16 Revenge. After I did the Burning Route, I always use the Watson Revenge Racer.
I absolutely love burnout, one of the best racing games with very little to do with racing.

Jumps are totally fine in need for speed, just not to the extent of this game. You're acting like NFS had massive jumps like the Big Surf Bridge or something? I know MW 2012 had bigger jumps also but it just adds to the fun factor, there's nothing wrong with it.
Also, the glitches in this game were outstanding. The paint glitch wasn't just for the GT Nighthawk, it allowed you to paint any chrome paint in the game and stuff like that.
Best Burnout was easily Paradise.

I booted this game up for the first time in a year just this past Saturday. Had a blast! Funny to see you do something similar.
I loved this game. I had gold for all the streets for the cars and motorcycles. Also I unlocked every car for the game.
I still play this game till this very day. Easily one of the best arcade racing games of all time..

Man that street rod is one of my favourite car in burnout paradise.
There are also Challenges in Most Wanted 2012. Not as much as Paradise, of course. You can make a playlist of that for the friends-only game.
there's also an out of bounds glitch I found( it ain't that much but its still cool to troll people) I'll tell u the instructions
1:get a bike
2: go too the area near the bridge and the small tunnel(also ne'er the coastguard and junkyard
3:squeeze through a spot at the end of both things
4:turn around the wall and don't go too far or you'll fall
5:then go near the edge and turn with the barrier
6:drive forwards and you'll be behind the barrier
Burnout paradise still is amazing! Still play this today as do many others on the Xbox one. Best car is the toy 88 special 👌
After this game became backwards compatible I immediately picked it up again, and after many years I finally managed to complete all 500 online challenges and got the P12 Diamond. It's sad that this game has nothing new to offer but it has been an amazing journey
What a pity that this game was abandoned by developers so early. It was/is so amazing. Would love to see another Burnout game like that.

Most memorable racing game I ever played
I remember years and years ago that they had a ps3 showcase corner in a gameshop. I played litteraly for the hole day there just driving burnout. just driving and crashing. i remember that it was soooo fun. It only was like 5 or 6 years ago it feels like a longer time (im 14 btw)

This was the first racing game I ever played. It was my chidhood. Never got the DLC though so I never got to explore Big Surf or the Legendary or toy cars.

I remember farming busses in crash mode and having my friends hit me while in crash mode lol
I played the heck out of this game . Bought all the content and it was the only game I enjoyed 100% online . I beat the game and the next day PS3 introduced trophies so I started over . Street times , stunt runs , motorcycles , gold stealing and even toy cars . Loads of fun . I played it until I got the PS4 .
The takedown snapshots were amusing . I saved the pics of folks flipping me the bird and sent them back on Christmas day .
