Yes David thanks, still very early allthough someone else has mown today, the crazy season has started and i hope the weather is better than last year for the farms, cheers for now Steve . 🙂
Well indeed it is a bit warmer further down country and may i say a tad drier too, cheers for your comment and looking forward to some of your vids soon, cheers . 👍
Have to say that field looks a hell of a lot drier than down here in West Sussex going by the ruts left after they started chopping near here on Wednesday .
That defenetly is a light crop but quality, don't know how farmers could pay a contractor per acre to lift such a light crop, Here in Ireland 140 per acre heavy or light.
Thanks for the comment, i am sure you are not the first to think that, crop had to come of to get Maize in, next Slurry, bedding muck, till, plough, and then power harrow then drill maize total cost ££££££ 🤔, but all part of the thing called farming to feed the millions, cheers .
Brilliant to see some silage going Steve, nicely caught!
Thanks Jacob, just seems like a few days ago just rain but no grass, still earlt and about seven to ten days for the early farms . 👍
Nicely shot video Steve of a very colourful and action packed field! Early down your way, not even close up in North Cumbria!
