Came here trying to figure out how to get my frist 33.x, there are a few spots its better to go wide and also the corner before the ramp theres a little pocket you can dip i to to make flicking easier
Good job mate it’s my local track and my best is 33.04 it’s a pretty straight forward track, but they only thing I’d say is the corner before the ramp, tap the brake slightly and then flick the rear end of the kart round it and the second you feel the car slip a little go on the accelerator and you should be good for that corner, it can make up for a lot of time 👍
Cheers man, I was braking there to begin with but felt it was costing me time so I was just lifting and flicking, I'll have to give it another shot sometime
@@LearnToRace as long as you had fun, that's the main thing!! I really need to get out to more TS tracks, I've only driven Bristol so far, deffo gonna make it over to Cardiff soon. I need to do my own "tour of TeamSport" 😁
@@LearnToRace amazing, I'd be well up for that!! I'm looking forward to the event you are looking to organise, and if I find myself heading north at any point I'll give you a shout!
I went in a group of 10 to Warrington last Saturday an it was constant yellow flags with idiots overtaking during them. In our 2nd session we were stopped for 5minutes at the very beginning because 1 of the karts had ran out of petrol and they took it off our racing time. Theyve just given us a free session so thats ok
@@LearnToRace ah mate I would love to join for that. I don't have Facebook or Instagram so tend to miss these kind of updates sadly but I'll keep an eye out on the community page on here and hope I don't miss it 👍🏼 (maybe bump this comment for me if you can remember closer to the time!)
@@LearnToRace Also my local. The best I've seen from others is a 34.31 with next quickest times being 34.8 - 35.5 range (those practicing for BIKC), so that PB is awesome given you got held up at the end on a very busy track - very nice work! Will certainly learn from this video to improve my 35.9, thank you! Agreed on the breaks. Looks like you got really unlucky with the other drivers that day, as I've never seen so many yellow/red flags. So many first timers panic coming off that long straight at top speed in to turn one they slam the breaks, locking up and either spinning or torpedoing everyone in front of them haha. Had someone give me a lovely shunt at top speed there and sent my kart under the barrier and stuck in the tyre wall once ha. Glad you managed to at least have that good battle! Again, great job!
@@Zerololz it is what it is, it was a Saturday so I know most if not all people at the track are new/Inexperienced, I had a good time and posted a half decent time so I'll take that all day long
@@LearnToRace thats still alot, good tho. How do you get into it in general i go occasionally i just cant seem to step it up any more? Did you join a club or have your own kart?
I’ve gone to this track somewhat regularly, although the staff are really nice and it’s a decent track it’s a magnet for idiots or generally non considerate people who never leave space, never follow yellows and blame you for everything but maybe I’ve just been unlucky
Ahhhh took my lad here for his 15th Birthday. We got 5 laps in, in 2 sessions. Every other lap had red or yellow flags.
Pain in the bottom!
My pr here is 33.2!! Nice driving ❤

another good video man, always frustrating when there is loads of yellows!!

im going to stockton soon
you are so right about the black and yellow flags on this track, the track staff are way way too over the top at trafford
Hey bro. What camera do you use? I think you have a great angle and would like to start using on myself. Also, where do you mount your camera?
I use a GoPro hero 8, it's mounted on the chin of my helmet

im going there on sunday is it good
Yeah it's a fun track, not the most technical but good fun
Have they improved the karts because I did 34.0 on my first time here today
Yeah maybe, was the layout the same? I did notice upstairs on the leaderboards they have a second layout, or you're just that damn fast!
