- Hi everyone! Welcome back to my 21 week pregnancy update. I can't believe I'm 21 weeks pregnant and hopefully closer to giving birth than not, now! I chat about my pregnancy symptoms in this video, how I'm feeling and the fact that Mark felt baby move! Hope you are all well. Lots of love, Charlotte and Bump! xx

WHO AM I?
I'm Charlotte.
I'm 28, love carbs, rubbish 90's music, Prosecco and baths without finding a bath toy stuck under my bum.
I have a little boy called Bill (born June 2012) and a little girl called Daisy (born April 2016).
I am, very recently, a full-time vlogger and blogger (the stuff dreams are made of), but I am also a trained journalist, former magazine editor, and content lead.
I'm also part of Channel Mum - which is really worth checking out if you're a mama like me and want to find videos to make you laugh, cry, nod, or get advice. / channelmum
I was a single mum, just me and Bill. But then I had a bit of a fairytale moment when I met Mark (he's a bit lovely) and things are better than I could have hoped for now. Daisy was born with Stickler Syndrome, and a cleft palate like me. Her start has been rocky but she'll be fine. She's got a family who adore her after all.
I know that all mums are different in their own way, but I hope you enjoy seeing snippets of my life, all the same.

That overwhelming feeling of love you have when you see your partner it’s so real!
I have a 15 month old baby and we are pregnant again and when I see my partner playing or being very attentive of our first daughter I just want to jump on him and kiss him and cry lol
I love him so much and then I have days where that love grows even when I didn’t think I could possibly love him more. It’s funny how that works.
21 weeks on Wednesday with baby number 2 so I'm loving watching your updates as you are exactly a week ahead which is so lovely! I'm so happy everything is going well for you! I'm so excited for my little family to be complete ❤️ xxx

Thank you for these videos! I’m 21 weeks with my first baby [boy!!!] & it’s encouraging to hear the emotional side! I felt amazing yesterday but got yucky in the evening.... today was so hard. I’m tired and hungry and so emotional for no reason... once I cry a bit I feel better. I’m glad I’m not alone! My baby is 13 ounces and I am feeling heavier! I’ve gained 4 pounds total ... which is good but I’m feeling weighty!

I’m just over 39 weeks now and throughout this pregnancy (it’s my first) I have been very teary. At first I thought I was way more emotional, but now I’m realizing that actually it’s my resilience that had taken a knock - I still feel things they way I’ve always felt them, but I just have a lower tolerance. Things that wouldn’t usually upset me have been, because I’m a) tired and b) feeling quite vulnerable. So the loss of my ‘robustness’ has been something I’ve really noticed. Once I thought of it in that way, I felt less silly about it all.
I’ve also started weird idle daydreams of my husband being in an accident etc and I think I’m feeling quite paranoid about it because I really feel like I *need* him more around me to take care of me and this baby to be!
I'm 21 weeks pregnant today, and so having trouble in sleeping and also the back aches. I'm so emotional too, this is my first and my bump is not that big as well. Due in 23rd March. Excited much. BTW I so love your hair.. you are so pretty!! Take care.
Thank you so much for the video I always really look forward to them as you are so relatable. I have an 19 month old daughter who seems pretty similar to Daisy who is adorable btw. I am currently 20 weeks plus 3 with twins and had my 20 week scan today and found out I am having 2 girls and all looks well atm so fingers crossed! Don't worry about the heightened emotions with all of these extra hormones flying around in our bodies I think it's amazing we manage to still function at all! Us ladies are awesome! X

How amazing Mark felt him move this week. Lovely moment for ye both. I'm so excited hearing your updates as I'm 15 wks now and not particularly showing, it's been 3 weeks since my scan and next one is at end of December so I'm a bit in pregnancy limbo, like did I just imagine it?? It doesn't help that we haven't told family yet either, there just hasn't been a good time in the last 3 weeks. I just keep thinking I'll be at your stage at Xmas and the age gap between my son and baby will be similar to Bill and your baby so I'm excited to see how they interact. I can't wait to tell my son he's going to be a brother. 😍😍😍

I'm 22 weeks today so very close to you :) and I've been having really vivid, detailed dreams too! Last night I had an extremely realistic, detailed dream about a family member passing away. It really shook me up! So I'm with you on that one xx

I was angry with my husband for a week during the middle of my pregnancy because I dreamt that he left me for another woman. Poor guy 😂

We found out I'm having a boy, as well 💙💙💙 I am so excited for this new experience, since I already have my 2 beautiful girls. I'm definitely in the moody club with you Charlotte. Hahaha Also my hubby was feeling on the belly while I was asleep the other night and felt our little boy doing ninja moves in there. He got so excited that he woke me up just to let me know he was feeling his baby boy😍 Can't wait for these next 4 months to go by so he can complete my little family. Stay lovely, Charlotte!!

im 21 weeks with a boy and noticed armpit stable way quicker than i did when pregnant with my daughter. so i so agree with that!
You look amazing, Charlotte! The hair colour, the style, your makeup, nails, love the sweater 👌🏻just glowing. I too had wicked dreams during all 3 pregnancies and they included my hubby cheating on me too. Such a gut wrenching feeling when u wake up and had a very hard time shaking it off. Those hormones just seem to affect every part of our bodies.

Loving the videos I was watching some of your old pregnancy videos then discovered you was pregnant again Just behind me I’m due 27th Feb but this is my first pregnancy. My hormones are playing havoc too and my backs killing haha x
Oh Charlotte, you look gorgeous (you always do mind) but pregnancy really looks good on you. I can’t remember the hair growth thing, carrying Reece. If it weren’t for the 14yr gap, we would’ve been bump buddies, Reece’s birthday is the 29th March. Oh but I do remember how special it is when your partner can feel the baby move. Xx
I’m a few weeks behind you Charl (18 weeks tomorrow and due 7th April) but I too have noticed I’ve been a bit grumpy with my other half this week, so it’s not just you. I was also sick earlier this week after no sickness since about 13/14 weeks. Xxx

Yep I'm with you and having all the big emotions all the time; we are 15 weeks along. I'm exhausted by it tbh. I hate that feeling that I'm a little unbalanced. I'm hoping as we move through the second trimester it will even out a bit.
Me! Me! I'm in the moody club! And the crazy dreams club, sigh. I'm 15 weeks today and I've been following you since you were early stages with Daisy, because you were just about the same amount ahead of me for that pregnancy as well! (My son is just shy of 16 months old now) So this is the 2nd time we're bump buddies. Maybe it really is a boy pregnancy thing, we find out in a few weeks! I'm currently 19.5 weeks pregnant this my second child after 11 years I've been reading the comments and I can relate to a lot of them I get bad back pains I cry a lot too and my belly is full of hairs.... I think I waited to long until I feel completely different this time around... I'm due march 30th... Best of luck along the way ladies

Oh honey, I think most of us are in the"moody" club...lol. Some of us are just more sensitive than others, and I tend to wear my ❤ on my sleeve as well.😄

The hair growth thing... I'm glad I'm not the only one! I've found second time round the rapid hair growth has stuck around after delivery. My little boy is 5 months and it's only just starting to get to normal! 😣😣
I have the crazy anxious dreams when pregnant. I had one the other night that Rich cheated on me with a man, and I felt really weird towards him the entire day. I’ve also had dreams about the house falling down, and the social services came and took the kids into care. I honestly think it’s just the hormones. I remember with Dylan having multiple dreams about having a faceless baby; literally a baby, but with a totally smooth face. It was so distressing!
And honestly, you saying that you don’t feel attractive when pregnant and looking like a blob... look in the mirror Miss, because you have a serious glow going on, you look fab! x

I'm 20 weeks and 2 days today. I'm always so emotional at the moment. My other half must think I'm off my rocker sometimes. One minute I'm happy and next I'm crying because I can't decide what I want to eat or drink and then I want company as I get lonely but then when there's loads of people with me i want to be on my own. I can't make a choice. Your definitely not on your own. Hugs to you and baby boy. I found out last week that I'm expecting a baby girl. This is my first pregnancy xxx

You're adorable! YES on the hormonal side effects. You're lucky that you are primarily weepy, I am mostly angry and short tempered. Dreaming of death symbolizes birth in my culture so it's completely normal for pregnant women to experience those types of dreams all the time, even the death of a relationship can also symbolize birth. I look forward to your videos every week and sometimes I even sneak ahead to anticipate what is coming.
I love this! I’ve been like this... I hated my husband for 2 days for dream cheating on me at exactly the same stage with baby #3. Hoping next week will be better 🙈 my little boy also went off to his dad’s and that’s always rubbish but this time I was heartbroken 😔 you look amazing xx
My little one is due on the 16th of March so we’re really close! I’ve been having crazy vivid dreams lately and have also been moody. It’s nice to know I’m not the only one 😅

Hit 21 weeks today and yes, the moodiness has hit big time, which doesn't help when me and OH are trying to paint the baby's room! Lets just say we both stormed off at one point!
I'm 28 weeks pregnant expecting a baby boy too. But my body hair has stopped growing in proportion of 85% . So begore being pregnant I used to wax every 3 weeks or so and now while pregnant I have not had much regrowth. ..which is amazing

Oh no! A friend of mine had the same issues as you. I'm sorry you're feeling so crappy. My 2nd and 3rd months were so difficult, but I'm pretty good now. Be kind to yourself.
Phew I’m not alone! I’ve been having dreams (multiple per night) of my husband leaving me, of never coming home or moving on or something..... crazy!!!!!! Very disturbing and I wake up exhausted and having a head ache! I don’t feel like that way in normal life! Sorry you went through that too!

I’m 26 weeks pregnant! I am in the moody club. I’ve had severe round ligament pains and TMJ jaw pains. I can hardly walk and everything makes me cry if I find it sad. You aren’t alone girl haha. Sheer misery.

I’m a week farther along than you, with my first, and omg I definitely have fallen into the anxiety dreams involving work or my fiancé cheating and my emotions have felt rather uncontrollable. It’s not fun at all!

I’m not pregnant now but when I was I had the craziest vivid lifelike dreams and definitely ended up angry at my hubs for things he did not do! But I also had the scary ones too and they would make me an emotional wreck for days afterwards!! Also, not trying to burst your theory bubble but my hair growth escalated massively...and I had a girl! Xx
I will be 19 weeks tomorrow and can safely say I, too, am in the moody club. I get so upset when I end up along for long durations which isn't healthy since I work from home and I'm alone quite often. It's strange.
I'm 23 weeks pregnant with my first baby which we have chosen not to find out the gender but since I found out I'm pregnant we've been convinced it's a boy! Lol and my hair growth would confirm this theory 😂😂 but who knows 😉 All the best for the rest of your pregnancy! Xx

Hi Charlotte, I suggest to look for a kind of preggo belt that supports your belly and also back. Maybe that helps with your back pain? I can't remember how the things name is, my children are already 12, 10 and 6 years old. Salo

I wouldn’t say I was in the moody club, but I keep having dreams that my partner has left me. I’ve had these since I was preggo and my little girl is now almost 1 and I’m still having similar dreams. Maybe after going through the first half of your pregnancy with so much anxiety and now you know it’s ok, all that potential sadness needs to channel elsewhere. Xx
#moodyclub I went away last week and for the first 24 hours it just wouldn’t stop showering every 15 minutes we finally got out had a beautiful ten minutes when our youngest saw the sea for the first time then it started again and I just couldn’t cope I marched back to the car made everyone get back in, and I cried solidly for 15 minutes! My husband thought I was mental 😂🙈 I never normally cry like that about trivial things but I couldn’t control it x
😂😂 this is also my third pregnancy and even tho I am not too moody this time, I have those crazy vivid dreams most nights and I can’t tell you how many times I have woken up and said to my husband I wasn’t happy with him because he cheated on me in my dreams and he was a total ass about it 😂 first time in pregnancy I have had the cheating dreams.

Hi charlotte my name is Kendall I am 21 weeks I have also been very emotional lately! Just the other day I had a horrible craving for a Reeses cup and I finally broke down and eat one! Right when I took a bite I started crying my eyes out it tastes so good bad thing was my 7 year old was watching me and looking at me like I was crazy LOL! I was thinking what is wrong with me!

I'm due in early April next year and I've just had my first bouts of absolutely crazy and overwhelming emotion. It's nuts to be totally fine one moment and a raging bitch monster the next!! Lol

Hahaha I felt the dreams! I dreamt I went to pee and there was loads of blood! I also dreamt my husband died and I love him so much it felt awful! Plus I also had the cheating dream wtf🤣😂🤣 maybe just subconscious fears coming out!
I'm also sick with the worst head cold that moved into my chest and it's taking ages to get over. Was super unpleasant
